Question for the board is why is Hamilton ranked where they are with their SOS? They seem to be an outlyer

They started at number 9, haven't lost while those around them have once or twice.    Had the best overall record of the NESCAC from a year ago, sweet 16 loss in overtime to Springfield.  Graduated one Sr. starter and a couple bench guys but returned top 6 scorers.

Their massey schedule strength will go up as they accumulate NESCAC opponents.  Finished #110 SOS by massey last year.

Scranton only team in d3 to have  both men and women undefeated?

Back on Dec. 19th. I discussed this with Ronk in the "Top 25" topic section.

I am fairly certain Scranton is the only school with both basketball teams still undefeated.

At the very least, they are the only school with both undefeated & in the Top 25.

However, the consensus seems to be when guessing which team loses first, the men get that honor on Jan. 9th. when they visit Moravian.

Scranton is the last in all of NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA or USCAA


Finlandia and Summit are the last two D3's without a win for either of their teams.  Coppin State in D1 and D2 Cal State Monterey Bay are also winless.

Hamilton had a scare from Keene today, but they pulled it out in the end with typical discipline and solid FT shooting.
