Thanks..Magic... I was a little bleary eyed this morning anyway... also picked up the fact that I missed the 12/5 Bridgewater State game....

So down to 22 undefeated......15 winless

I noticed the game on JWU-Denver schedule long ago...Oglala Lakota....  assuming a Native American college.... Would be interesting to see what their hoops is like... I've been enthralled with specials about High Schools like this...particularly remember the series about an Alaskan school and how much the team meant to the community...

It's a tribal community college owned and operated by the Lakota Nation (aka the Sioux). It's located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in southwestern South Dakota.

Native American school are hard to follow for the most part. They can have a wildly good team one season and have no program the next and if they have a website it often is not current. Oglala Lakota seems to consistently have a team at the least. Haskell Indian Nations in Kansas and Bacone in Oklahoma are both NAIA school and are rare exceptions of regularly funded programs.

Leech Lake Tribal College and Sisseton Wahpeton College (both look like they are good again this year) have won the past 2 NIAC conference titles and Turtle Mountain Community College has also won a pair of titles (2013 and 2016). But often these schools will schedule a season of game and than forfeit each game as the season go on like Cankdeska Cikana Community College did last season and Nueta Hidatsa Shanish College appears to be doing this season.

For those that like to deep dive into college basketball, Native American schools are probably the deepest dive of them all.

I included St.Thomas Tx and JWU Denver in all my data as D3 teams because they play complete D3 conference schedules, and their overall schedule is a high % of D3 games...  it's the exact opposite for Pratt and Mississippi U W.... a low % of D3 games, so I did not include them as D3 teams.....
