I suggested Bates send an intramural team to play that one, but a 100 point margin might be fun.

Coach C, Knightstalker  -  let me know when you're coming out my way to see a SLIAC game  -  I think I can introduce you to some Midwest hospitality over in East St Louis.   ;) ;)

East St. Louis, I already live in Jersey City, that's like going from Afghanistan to Iraq, not sure which if more fun.

Does that man that if we are posting in June was can talk more about, oh, say umm maybe beer, or the realtive quality of strip clubs near D3 venues, wheras that would be more frowned upon at this time of year?

C

That conversation should never be frowned upon.

I dunno, that Webster / Fontbonne game should rivet the fans to their seats.  ;D

diehard -

It's ok.  I was an English major.  I know better.  I just can't type.

And why aren't there words?

I appreciate the invite, but there is NO WAY I am going to St. Louis in the winter time so i can drive across the river to a strip club.  I can drive to Camden NJ right here at home!

Wait a minute...Coach C used the word "relative" in a discussion of strip clubs?!?  :o

....oh, I see.  Never mind.   ;)

No you got that wrong, fans would have to be riveted, literally attached with rivets, to stay in their seats.

I notice Memphis, (well known by other names on this site), recorded Post No 2000 above.... Congrats on the dedication to the site Memphis...  I always enjoy the witticisms in your postings!!!
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

That wasn't his 200th post, he just hasn;t posted since his 2000th, which was placed on the traditional board for milestones (why it's tradition, I have no idea, but it is nonetheless).

Talk about ironic- I'm in trouble over in the SLIAC room because I suggested that a poster who defined the Fontbonne - Webster rivalry as 'college rivalry at its best', might have D3 experience outside of the SLIAC that is relatively limited.

He didn't like that....   oh well  :'(

Bill Plaschke and the LA Times discovered Caltech this week:

Humble Pi

I'm sure he's already forgotten, since the Times covers the SCIAC about as closely as it covers the NESCAC .
