Another vote for Illinois Wesleyan!

Put me down for York College of PA.   Gotta go for the Capital Athletic Conference representative.

I'd like to go with Cal Tech because it would be the sports story of the Century and it would be about D3 hoops, but my intellect tells me to stay away from that once.  Carthage would be nice -- new mascott and all, but they have a tough early schedule.  UW Stout with 3 seven footers could be interesting, but agian scheduling seems to point to an early loss.

I think I'll go with Catholic, new Pope and all might help.

If Gonzaga switched to D3, I'd like to change my pick to them, otherwise I will stay with WW.

Might be walking out on a limb here.

Ursinus Bears of the Centennial Conference.  Super point guard in Mike McGarvey, experienced role players.  Not an incredibly tough early schedule, either.

According to the WIAC board, Whitewater lost to Loras - there's ONE survivor pick down the tubes on opening night!  (Greg, I understand why 'predictions are not my style'.  ;))

Who will be the next to be 'kicked off the island'?!

How about St. Thomas, losers to UW-Stout, 91-90 in OT tonight.

Fisher lost, too, to Baldwin-Wallace, 88-79.

Well, on the bright side, this is now one less room I need to check every night. ;D

Greg -

I think we're going to post the undefeated and the totally defeated here as well later on.

Mr. Ypsi

Well, Greg need not feel like the Lone Ranger!

If my count is correct, 45 pickers selected 22 teams.  With opening night not even over (though I think Puget Sound is the only selected team not yet accounted for), 12 pickers of 7 different teams have already crashed and burned!

Hey, guys, we were going for SURVIVORS, not virgin sacrifices! ;D ;)

Maybe those who picked Hope, Ramapo, Oshkosh, or Transylvania were on to something - unless I overlooked them, they WEREN'T SCHEDULED!

Mr. Y    Transy played, and won  -  over Maryville Mo   77-71
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!
