My undefeated pick is UT-Dallas.

I like the UT-Dallas pick, they are the only currently ranked team to not play at least one team who is at least ORV right now.  Although this in no gaurantee they will go undefeated, or even win this pool, they probably have as good a shot as anyone.

Mr. Ypsi

For my winless entry, I'll go with Crown.  While they won 4 games last year, they managed a perfect 0-for-2008-09.

KnightSlappy

I'll take DePauw and Macalester.

It's up to you all to decide which is for which.

Chuck, do you take a snorkel with you when you dive into the vat of green Kool-Aid, or do you just try to drink it down to the level where you can stand up in the tank? :D

Ya know I'm dying to see the probability that IWU goes unbeaten this year.  Maybe Mr Y will give us a double and give us the probability both the IWU men and women go unbeaten. :)

For each, about .001.  For both, about .00001.

But, hey, there's a chance! ;D

More seriously, I feel sorry for fans who don't know how to dream. ;)  (And with the women ranked #3 and the men ranked #4, I've got more 'realistic' dreams than most would! :o ;D)

Since Greg compiles the CCIW pickems, he knows I do not ALWAYS predict IWU.  Usually, sure, but aside from a few years lately, usually has worked pretty well! ;)  You guys need to recognize a separation between my dreams and my (semi-informed) 'rational' speculation.

For my winless entry I'll have to stay with my winning choice from last year and go with Caltech again.

magic...   what no regional loyalty...  the whole of upstate and New England and you grab Caltech????  ;D ;D ;D

Hmmmm......Morrisville....Cazenovia....Morrisville....Cazenovia........Ahhhh.....Cazenovia is the winner (?) of my coin toss for winless.

Might as well stay in region and go with Plattsburgh St as undefeated.  Wish it were U of R, but that ain't happening....

Although.......anybody got Rust yet??

I'll follow the "homerness" of Mr Ypsi (my fellow Michigander) and take Hope to go undefeated.  And I will remain an MIAA "homer" and take Alma to be winless.

hopefan,
I didn't want to do a lot of research for my winless pick, and having had Caltech last year and seeing as how no one jumped on them this year I figured they were destined to be mine again.

I was going to do a homer pick for my undefeated entry and go with my Cardinals of Plattsburgh State, but Ethelred the Ready grabbed them on me. I guess I'll have to take Middlebury who I like a lot but I really want to root for Plattsburgh State when Middlebury and Plattsburgh meet in Plattsburgh on Tuesday, January 4th. There is a good possibility that both teams could be undefeated heading into that showdown.

May IWU and Carthage both still be in the contest by that game!  Going head-to-head with you would be fun. ;D

gotta get by Hope and Calvin first!!!!   ::)

Williams.  Although I worry a little bit about the road game vs. a much-improved Wesleyan team early in the season, if they get by the Cards (and they should), vs. North Park on December 30 should be the first real test.

There is no chance Amherst loses in 2010 with its schedule, and they don't play a really tough road game until FEBRUARY, but I certainly can't take the Lord Jeffs!
