When was the last time they won 2 in a row?

The last time Caltech won 2 games in a season was in 2001-2002 when they beat Cooper Union and LIFE Bible. I do not know when CIT last won 2 straight. You might have to go back to 1992-1993 or thereabouts when Caltech won 8 games in a season.

Here's the write-up of CIT's win from the Caltech web site:

I plan on being at the Eastern Nazarene game.

Green Mountain watch:

They lost the third game of the season 23-70 to New England College.  NEC played the end of their bench most of the game.  GMC did manage only 16 turnovers, with five guys playing 40 minutes each, that's kinda impressive.

I hope these guys get some wider recognition if they go the whole year without a sub.  That's a feat of determination.

With Green Mountain, Wonder what happened to the guys on last year's team?  Anyone who played appreciable minutes last year is not on the roster this year....  all seniors?  transfers, other situations?
AND Kenneth williams , the current roster player who had some exprerience last year (playing in 7 games), is the one player on the roster who hasn't played this year... assumedly out with injury.  Their current ironman 5 had a total of 15 minutes of action last season, all in the person of Daniel Kimatarale.   They actually were reasonably competitive in most games last year with their 9-17 record.. for instance, they lost at Rochester by only 9!!!!!  Same Coach too... something either went dreadfully wrong, or they lost a boat load of decent seniors.....

Green Mountain had two transfers come in last year from scholarship schools.  From what I hear, they were only there to play ball and were talented, but not really a part of the school.

They did lose both those guys along with four (I think) seniors.

They've got six guys on the roster, but one is apparently injured.

I'm rooting for 40 minutes a piece for the whole season.

Going all the way to BFE, Vermont to a granola, peacenik school to play ball, without a scholarship? Must have loved to hoop!

It's getting to that time of year where it would be interesting to see who is left undefeated and winless....   any of you database guys with easy access care to help us out with a beginning list?

Anyone have Bob Ley's contact info to get this story on Outside the Lines?

Or at least E:60?

Not sure something like this has been done before... even for half a season.
"C.J.: They sent me two turkeys. The most photo-friendly of the two gets a Presidential pardon and a full life at a children's zoo. The runner-up gets eaten.

One more interesting thing to follow... no one has fouled out yet... the 5 that started each game all played complete games!!!!

This room does tend to make folk heros out of kids who are enduring tough seasons like Green mountain is... we've had some fun with schools like Maine Presque Isle, Bard, and Cal Tech in the past....and I think most of us appreciate what these kids are going through....  I know I just get an absolute thrill when a school is able to come off the list towards the end of the season....

Again, I know only what I've heard, which is probably ninth-hand by this point, but I'm not sure they had many other options.

There's always Unity - or an NCCAA bible college - or somewhere! If Jim McMahon can last at BYU (until the day his eligibility was up, or so I hear)...
