Wanted to do some research here. Why not?

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps - 2/11 @ Redlands (72%)            stagg44

Winless  - Best Chance For A Win (with Massey Projected Win %)

Polytechnic - 1/21 @ NY Maritime (10%)
Elmira - 1/24 vs. Alfred (19%)
SUNY-Cobleskill - 1/29 vs. Keuka (50%)
Franciscan (Ohio) - 1/11 vs. PSU - Altoona (20%)
Penn State-Altoona - 1/11 vs. Franciscan (80%)
Baptist Bible - 1/7 vs. Philly Bible (34%)
Penn State-Berks -1/15 vs. SUNY - Cobleskill (92%)

Martin Luther - 2/4 vs. Presentation (54%)
St. Mary's (Minn.) - 2/4 vs. Macalester (73%)

stagg44 is lovin your research and Massey's projections as that would mean his team has the best chance of going undefeated.
nwhoops team is a close 2nd
Hugenerd likes the fact that his team's best chance for a loss is later than the other three of us, as we might all be eliminated by 2/15
It looks like my chances are worse than anybody's and yet my team is #1. I still like my chances against Amherst. I'm more worried about Williams on January 28th even though the game's in Middlebury.

Of course, remember that Macalester had a 2% chance of beating Carleton and well, the dice roll was favorable for them!

Which will give the Engineers even more incentive, since they stand to run the table in the regular season. After watching them play recently, I was impressed with Cates, Hollingsworth, Tashman,  Karraker, and Bender. All five starters averaging double figures. Not too many teams (if any) have five scoring options like they do. Not even Grinnell has 5 guys in double figs.

Those 5 are real comfortable with eachother, Kates and Tashman are Juniors, Karraker and Hollingsorth are RS Juniors (academically seniors, but will be back for a year), and Bender is a senior, so they have all been around eachother for at least 3 years.  NEWMAC is tough this year, though, and every team will be up to play them based on MIT's ranking.  They seemed a bit rusty yesterday with the long layoff, but hopefully they can now get into the groove of playing 2 games per week from here on out, with all their non-conference games complete.

Saw NYU-Poly play their last few games...this team is maybe one of, if not the worst basketball team ever assembled at the collegiate level (at least from what i've viewed in my lifetime).  I have no idea where these players come from but it's very unfortunate to watch them play: other teams let them stay in the game for a while due to the "playing down to the level", the very low, low level of NYU-Poly's team.  Hey, on the bright side: at least these kids are going to get jobs! They're all in math & science so kudos to them for that, right?

You can find out here:

It may be a similar situation to Cal Tech's prior teams.

"playing down to the level???" Are you kidding me? How about giving kids credit for playing hard and battling? How about cutting a first yr coach some slack for taking over a program in shambles? It looks like they lost a few players and still stayed competitive against a purchase after a month off. They also play in a conference dominated ny transfers like your boy AJ mattheews..They have true freshmen and have had a couple ROWs already. they probably should have beat maritime btw but you re just basing off obe gane against uour alma mater. So tone it down with the insults with your limited amount of knowledge and information, bro.

Copied to CityD3:

I first saw them against St. Joseph's first off and let me say that it was really bad, my friend.

This team is NOT good and there have been some bad teams in this part of the world...I'm not saying they won't get better in the future or that the coach is bad because this team DOES hustle but as of right now, they are not very good, not at all.

Kid Auguste scored 30 on St. Joe's. Not impressive ?
