Franciscan (Ohio) loses to D'Youville 79-62 to finish their regular season at 0-24. Interesting couple of lines found after their last game on their D3hoops team page which shows their schedule. Has to be the biggest case of wishful thinking of the season.

Well, it looks like Hope didn't stay winless vs. D-3 this year. IWU shocks 'em 108-101 in 2OT at home, even, during the tournament.

With practices having started I'm ready to make my picks ;D

I'm taking Franklin & Marshall (it's got my school's name in it so that has to be good right?) to go undefeated
And Earlham (please don't beat my Grizzlies in the HCAC) to go winless

Well, it only makes sense to defend my winless crown with the team that won it for me...  Principia.. but I'll be challenged immediately when they face the Eutectics of St Louis Pharma the first weekend of the season..  could take me out of the running quickly!!

I don't want to step on anybody's toes with an undefeated pick by going with an obvious pick that someone who is a real supporter of would have more fun with.. (IE Hope, IWU, NC, MIT)  so I'll go with Oswego State for undefeated

winless:  Franciscan
undefeated:  Baldwin-Wallace

Sac... interesting pick with BW.. I was going to go with Bethany.. but saw they were at BW early and had to rule them out....

I'll take Macalester for the third straight year for winless.
Calvin for undefeated for the sake of homerism.

Ethelred the Unready

I'll take Scranton as undefeated and SUNY-Cobleskill as winless

come to think of it, I wonder how UMPI is going to be this year?  Wonder if the 7'3" kid will get to play this year.....

No roster, but I find is fascinating the UMPI will be playing Claremont M-S in December.  This might set a D3 record for greatest distance between two opponents. :P

And they're far apart geographically too.

I'm taking MIT before Nerd does.  I don't see them struggling with anyone; their toughest game is going to RIC and that cave of a gym they have in Providence.

For the winless, I'm going to go with SUNY-Maritime this year.  It's a risky pick, but it's the best I can do.
