My brain says MIT will run the table but I'll vote my heart and say Williams will be undefeated and I'll go with Cal Tech as winless.

I'll take Virginia Wesleyan as my undefeated, and NYU-Poly as my winless.

undefeated: Middlebury
winless      : Bard

Bard-Caltech could be for the championship

I'll go with Amherst for undefeated, since Ronk just took my Middlebury pick while I was looking at some teams for a winless choice.  I won with Middlebury last year and was going to take them again. For my winless choice I'll take Maine-Maritime.

I think Ronk could be the first player that exits the winless pool as Bard plays Albany Pharmacy to open the season on Nov. 15th. Last year's Bard team beat them 87-57 and Bard could be a better team this year.

Wonder if St Louis Pharmacy and Albany Pharmacy have ever played..

Incidentally, I think Magic has a legitimate claim to picking Middlebury, having won with them last year...  Ronk??
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Mr. Ypsi

Didn't notice in time that this board had opened up - you guys have already taken all my top choices! ::)

Of the remaining picks for undefeated, I'd take Cabrini (who might finish 24-1), but their second game will likely be AT Va Wes!  Although it is a 'can't win', I'll be a homer and go with IWU.  (IF they can beat Harvard (possible) and IF the rumors about Hollingsworth are unfounded, MIT just might run the table 'til the postseason.)

For the no wins category, I'll take a flyer on Martin Luther - they absolutely cratered last year, though I know nothing about why or about this year.  I'm taking a long-shot that something has gone horribly wrong up there.

I'm willing to let magic have Middlebury in exchange for Amherst. Bard-Albany Pharmacy is a worry but I've heard that the pharmicists have come up with the antidote to losing this year's encounter.

ronk,

I appreciate the offer to switch and I'll take you up on that. I actually think Amherst might stay undefeated longer than Middlebury this year but I'd rather root for the Panthers as they are closer to my home and I like their coach, Jeff Brown, who I've followed since he was a player at the University of Vermont back in 1979-82. Amherst has an easier schedule than Midd does during November and December, so I might have done you a favor. I get to see Middlebury play early on when they come to Plattsburgh to take on my Plattsburgh State Cardinals on November 25th. We hung with them last year through the first 30 minutes over there and I'm hoping we can pull the upset at home this year, even if it cost me in the survivor pool. Thanks again for allowing me to have Middlebury. if I don't win I hope you do. 8-) Plus K.

Thanks hopefan,  for lobbying for me. I owe you one. ;) Sorry to hear you're not doing the D3 against the world board this year. You did give us a few good years though. Hopefully one of the computer whiz guys will step up and do it. Plus K for you too!.

Ok, agreed. Ronk now has Amherst(undefeated) and Bard(winless).

Martin Luther's problem is that you can't play either offense or defense effectively when your motto is, "Here I stand. I can do no other." ;)

Wait, Mr. "I have more time on the boards than anyone else" didn't notice that the thread started back up again?
