The Oberlin / Franciscan game on the 24th is the pillowfight of the young season thus far.

If this one doesn't trip me up it could be the Baron's Dec. 17 tilt with Ohio University-Eastern......or the entire AMCC.

Is my winless pick Presentation bad enough to lose to bye to drop me off that list as well??

I really can't tell how good or wretched the teams Presentation plays this year are, truly. They have just four games against D-3 games, including a sizzling one at the end of the year against Finlandia. Many of their opponents could be in the 'nether world'  in the USCAA or NCCAA.

Mr. Sager takes a seat as NYU-Poly crushes Sarah Lawrence 84-43 to fall off the Winless list on Monday night. I updated the list  above this post. I'm not sure if Sarah Lawrence is D3 or not. They show up in blue type on the D3 scoreboard as all D3 teams do instead of the black type that denotes a non D3 team and you can click on their name but the link states "that page could not be found". When I found their website and located the men's basketball home page, they display the NCAA D3 logo. They are a member of the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference which is affiliated with the USCAA. I don't think any of the other schools are D3 but maybe Sarah Lawrence is in transition over to D3.

Pat, Greg or Ralph will know I'm sure.

I believe Sarah Lawrence is in their first year of transition, but this was the game that kept me from picking Poly this season.

The Gryphons is a neat nickname, though!

Last year Sarah Lawrence beat Webb Institute twice and won over Mt. St. Vincent via forfeit (or so says the Sarah Lawrence site).

The box scores for them could be pretty fugggly this year.

Sarah Lawrence is in its first year of provisional membership.

We don't create team pages for all teams in their first year since some never make it any farther.  Lincoln (Sister) Christian and Palm Beach Atlantic are recent examples.

Addendum:  Valley Forge Christian College, which frequently appears on D3 team schedules, is also in its first year of provisional membership. Go Patriots.

Thanks Hoops Fan and Gordon. I thought that's what it probably was when I saw the NCAA D3 logo on their website, but now we have the definitive answer.

Mr. Ypsi

A question on our rules.  Isn't it true that if a 'winless' pick wins by FORTY-ONE POINTS, the picker's pick for next year is also declared out?! ;D

I'm not sure about that. These are the types of players I want to be picking against.

You DO have a good point there!
