Williams keeps rolling with a 105-60 win over RPI.

Mr. Ypsi

I fall off the unbeaten list, as #3 UWW defeats #7 IWU, 71-65.  IF I had made it past this game, I liked my chances until January, but, alas, as I earlier posted, I had a bad feeling about this game.  Back-to-back titles for UWW do not seem at all out of the question.

Gee, do I recall back-to-back(-to-back) titles for UWW in some other sport? 8-)

Break up the Yankees Warhawks!!

My Maine-Maritime team keeps me alive as they squeak out a loss to Maine Augusta 57-54. When my Mariners were up 51-47 I figured I was done but the Moose came back and ended with a 10-3 run to give me the loss...I mean win.

ahhh the agony of victory, the ecstasy of defeat...congrats on a great loss...... Fortunately, I don't think my Principia team will play that close to Greenville on Thursday... (a game I'll see in person)

and oh by the way .. it seems my undefeated pick has a huge game coming up on Friday...come on Magic, help a buddy out....   you wouldn't be going over to Oswego to see the Cardinals play, would you?

hopefan,
I won't be traveling to the Oswego game as a 5 hour trip is just too far for me, especially into that area, when god knows what, will come whipping off the lake. However Oswego has streaming video so I'll be staying in town that night in my office and watching it on my computer. If there is no link on the D3hoops scoreboard just go to Oswego's website and it should be on the BB home page. If not just click on their schedule and it will be there. Decent video with announcers so it's worth the view. But knowing you, I expect you'll be taking in a game live in your area that night. ??? For what it's worth, I'm thinking my Cards have a good chance to pull off the upset against the Lakers on Friday. We almost beat them down there last year but for a questionable call in the last minute of the game. I think they're not as good this year (lost All American Chad Burridge to graduation) and I think we're better than we were last year. I expect a good hard fought game. I'd wish you good luck but....

As I suspect you already know, my appeal was mocking those who have been calling for Mt. Union to move to d2 for the last decade or so. 8-)

UWW, don't leave d3.  Rest of d3 - somebody TRAMPLE 'em!  (Preferably IWU! ;D)

Yeesh, they beat your team so they're going to win another title?

There's a whole conference of teams up in Wisconsin wants to have something to say about it.

... The Warhawks are who we thought they were! That's why we took the damn field. Now if you want to crown them, then crown their ass! But they are who we thought they were! And we let 'em off the hook!

Or something like that...

Easy there, big guy! ;D  I didn't say I think they WILL win again (and certainly we are conceding nothing if we get a rematch), just that another title certainly is not out of the question.  (With some defending champions you just know pretty early on that a repeat would be the longest of longshots.)

The women's side of this site does not have an undefeated and winless, but if you want to see a team that puts our winless men to shame (almost on a Grinnellean level), check out the current Medgar Evers Women's record and their scores....  those have to be 6 very brave young ladies......
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

They are why we couldn't have a winless contest on the women's side - whoever started the contest would take Medgar Evers - BOOM! contest over!

Sheesh!  In their six games total they have fewer points than 4 of their opponents had in the one!

Here was most of the article about their 74-5 loss to Arcadia...
QuoteThe Cougars played with only 5 athletes. They tried to stay positive throughout the game and always hustled for the ball.

Sophomore Guard Jasmine Dossou led the Cougars with 4pts. Freshman Guard Jaquy Lanot added a point.

Arcadia with the win, was led by Morgan Wensley with 12pts. Victoria Roukas and Samantha Caligiuri added 11pts.
Hopefully the ladies can put together a win this year. Massey says their best chance is New Rochelle on Saturday
