There's always the return matchup between those...titans.

It could be a win - win - win for all concerend!

As for Cornell, they're 2-3 and beat St. Norbert. Just probably had a bad game or something or other.

Both winless Principia and winless Blackburn play at Rockford (1-4) in December... if they both come out of that contest winless, there is a high likelihood we'll be looking at a classic winless matchup between the two on Jan. 5.... because that game is at Blackburn, I'd rate Prin a slight favorite in that game... to lose...

Will D3hoops be covering the classic? I remember Kansas-Kansas St rivalry football game a few(?) years ago at end of year when both were 0-10 and it ended in a tie(before the tiebreaker).

I would consider going to this game to represent D3hoops... it would be fun... but unfortunately it is opposite a game between the two SLIAC leaders, Spalding at Westminster, that I will likely attend....  (Spalding's vociferous fans and their disagreement with SLIAC officiating is always entertaining)....We'll have to miss that first win for someone.... now then, SLIAC poster Yjak's wife is a Blackburn alum... maybe we can convince her..... ::) ::)
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Hope1 should be nervous for his Stevens Point pick tonight. They head to Oshkosh. Despite going 0-16 in the WIAC last year, they did take the Pointers into overtime last time they played at Kolf. The Titans also took River Falls and Platteville to an extra session. Point has had trouble in the past at Oshkosh, so it will pins and needles for this Pointer fan tonight.

Never fear Hope... UWSP snuck by with a 74-53 at Oshkosh.

Among the unselected winless teams, Elmhurst (CCIW) a 20 game winner only 4 years ago lost to a SLIAC team tonight to go to 0-5.  "Lo, how the mighty have fallen". 8-)

They eventually lost by only 4, but at one point trailed by 24.

Worse, it happened in Elmhurst's gym.

#3 Middlebury won vs Johnson State 103-67

#23 Albertus Magnus won vs Mount Ida 93-86

Winless Pool

SUNY-Maritime lost at Yeshiva 72-50
Having lost 3 games through postponements or cancellations this team is now off until January 13th. They may be the winner before they have to play again. I think an asterisk in the record books would be appropriate if that turns out to be the case.

Western Connecticut won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  74-71 over Worcester, so Magic can scratch them off the "notable winless teams not taken" now.

Lots of recent carnage on both ledgers!

I think Greek Tragedy is walking away with the undefeated title.  The only team left on Albertus slate that's going to beat them is themselves.  They may not lose their first game until March

smedindy

Albertus plays Yale on 12/18, though.
