They're Concordia-Chicago now. It's a recent change but that's what they went by in football this year.

Who compiled the undefeated / winless vs. D-3 list? Was there some spreadsheet involved?

SUNYIT is in the right (?) conference to leave the winless list. Lots of win opportunities abounding there.

Yes, I did that in the past... had a spreadsheet that downloaded scores from this site and generated win-loss records... no spreadsheet this year, but I'm missing it badly.. it will likely reappear next year to help here as well as maintain the d3 vs non d3 records....

Don't let hopefan kid us. He had that spreadsheet this year. :o The start of the season  just happened to coincide with his planned 40th anniversary vacation that Mrs. hopefan had planned for him, and he wasn't about to put his foot down and say we'll delay it until April. Those RPI guys are all alike. ::)
Actually did meet her when I was a Junior at RPI... innocent frosh nursing student at Albany Med...the ol hopefan fell like a ton of bricks... ;)

A nursing student, no wonder you married her. I take it back. Some of you RPI guys are sly like a fox, getting someone to heal you up now that youre getting up there in Ypsi's and my territory. 8-) My wife was an elementary schoolteacher, and 40 years later she's still always correcting me. :D

Well, mine is a school psychologist.  I walk a fine line.......

Is it beyond the realm of possibility for AM to defeat Yale?

Frank, I might be the biggest Albertus fan out there.... Albertus will have a great experience playing at Yale in a historical setting, it will be fun for them to play and they will do their best to compete. However, Yale has bigger forwards and guards and are deeper. Yale wins by 18 or so.

Much like pjunito, I'm predicting Yale will win...but I think Coach Mitch and the Falcons learned a lot when they played them in 09-10. That team, which featured Ray Askey as a sophomore and Jeff Lora as a freshman were down by 5 at half. Yale imposed their will in the second half and won by 21 but the Falcons hung for a while. Now, I'm completely unfamiliar with the Yale team but I'd say this Falcon team is much more deeper and talented. Plus Lora and Jimmy E both played in that game (Lora actually shut down all star center Greg Mangano) and will be back for this game. Should be fun though! I think Yale wins by 12-14.

hopefan

With Ypsi's Martin Luther team being eliminated with a stunning win over St John's, the winless pool is down to 5... and I notice that the next pool team to play is my Principia team on Friday 12/14...  playing at Rockford.. Rockford lost their first four games of the year, but has since won 3 in a row, albeit against teams with losing records...Prin could compete in this game...I'll be keeping my eye on this one.....  Then on Saturday, Madzillgd's Caltech team plays Santa Cruz, which could also be a nail biter, and Zander's Elmira plays Hilbert, who is 7-2 but with many of the wins against weak teams... upset possibilities?   heck, our list could be down to 2 or 3 by the end of the weekend.....

As Rockford is only a couple of years away from being a winless favorite, you may have a 'winner' in Principia!  On the other hand, you have some 'powerful' opposition! :P

Sac's big winless game is tonight...Mazillgd and Zander both have tough games to lose between Christmas and New Years... Hoops fan and I are sitting pretty til 2013!!!

On the undefeated side, FCGrizzlies, Sager, Hope1, and Greek Tragedy all face tough contests between now and New Years.... only the Magicman can breath easy as his team's matchup with the good guys from RPI should be a 'NC'

Ohio Univ. Eastern has employed a stealthy technique of not reporting any game scores since Thanksgiving and cancelling the one game vs a D3 to give me a comparison....(another loveable loser, Muskingum)

Getting scores from that conglomeration of Ohio schools is one of the great challenges out there.  Some just give up reporting scores like OUE, some feel just a W or L will suffice like Ohio-Mansfield http://crc.mansfield.ohio-state.edu/basketball_schedule.html   Half the teams in the conference wear green and white with 'ohio' on the uniform.

This, http://www.mid.muohio.edu/sports/menbasketball_standings.cfm says OUE is 6-1

I ran across this stat from Franciscan yesterday, they are #13 in D3 in blocked shots per game.

I know we have never done a men's AND women's combo winless or undefeated... BUT..

I just noticed one of my SLIAC school's is thus far running the perfect table...Blackburn Men are 0-8, Blackburn Women are 0-8... ::) ::) Principia, my men's team still in the winless contest, isn't far behind, but do not qualify, as their women have hit the win column once, agaist St Louis Pharma....   When BC and Prin play a men's and women's doubleheader on Jan 5, the combined records of the 4 teams could be something like 1-32.   Of course, 2 more
wins will come on to the ledger that night... I think.... :o :o :o

And speaking of lady's winless, how is favorite daughter of this room, Medgar Evers doing..when we last looked, they were 0-9, but had a two game streak of surpassing the 20 point mark on offense. a big plus to the ladies... they extended that streak to 3 games, losing to Hunter 76-20.. unfortunately the streak ended in their last game, a loss to Brooklyn, 77-10.
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Since I'm more intrigued by the winless amongst us (one of my favorite baseball teams to study is the 1899 Cleveland Spiders, so go figure...) I hopped over to Massey to see what the highest win probability game is for our lads:

Principia - 1/5 vs. Blackburn (50%)
Franciscan - 1/26 vs. D'Youville (47%)
SUNY - Maritime - 1/24 @ Polytechnic (17%)
Cal Tech - 12/29 vs. Bard (49%)
Elmira - 1/22 vs. Houghton (80%)
Houghton - 1/2 vs. D'Youville (55%)
Lancaster Bible - 2/2 vs. Suny - Cobleskill (32%)
Regis (Mass.) - 2/2 vs. Southern Vermont (74%)
Southern Vermont - 1/31 vs. Wheelock (57%)
New England College - 1/5 vs. Maine - Maritime (57%)
Washington College - 2/6 vs. Swarthmore (45%)
Muskingum - 1/2 vs. Franciscan (83%)
Blackburn - 1/29 vs. Principia (72%)
Northland - 1/22 vs. Finlandia (70%)
Piedmont - 1/5 vs. Averett (28%)
SUNYIT - 1/22 vs. Lancaster Bible (82%)
