Franciscan drops a tough one 72-75 to Washington and Jefferson.  At one point they had a lead in the 2nd half but trailed by 10 with 4 minutes to play and rallied to have 4 3-point attempts to tie the game in the last 30 seconds.

I'm feeling pretty good about the Barons chances at ending their 52 game slide tomorrow when they take on USCAA outfit Penn State-Greater Allegheny.  PSUGA is 0-5 on the year and if massey is correct haven't won a game since last January.

I pick Southern Vermont for undefeated right? LOL  >:(

As you can imagine, I didn't put much time into my picks. I selected SVT solely on their one win last year and took Point for obvious reasons, one not being that I actually think they will be the last team standing!  :P ??? :o So it goes!

Who officially was the 1st person to drop out of the winless pool  You had Southern Vermont in an 8 PM tip off. I had Caltech in a 7 PM tip off. ;D

Wonder when was the last time, if ever,  that Caltech won their opening game of the season. ???

With WPI's leading scorer going down for the season, I don't think my undefeated pick will hang around very long either. There goes my chance for a Threepeat. Shoulda stuck with Middlebury I guess. :(

Franciscan takes a 45-30 lead into the locker room at halftime against PSUGA.  I believe this streak is coming to an end.

Congrats to Franciscan on their first win in over 2 years.  Party with Baron VonSteubie tonight.  https://twitter.com/BaronVonSteubie

I'm officially dubbing this early exit from the winless as the curse of Mr. Ypsi

Hey... who's running this contest?  No updates?

Just noticed that John Gleich winless pick of Beloit was eliminated on Tuesday the 19th when they beat Dominican 71-69!!!!

Also noticed big losers game for AO's pick, Northland, coming up on Saturday, the 23rd, when they take on Crossroads, recent victim of the 173 point onslaught from Grinnell.

Cairn may be looking at a double donut - their women played an iron five in their first game and lost to a Penn St - Somewhere campus 82-33.

Notre Dame (MD) may save them from that.
