Unbeaten Point has a tough game tonight as they host conference rival Whitwater. Whitewater can ill-afford to go 0-2 to kick off the WIAC season. Though Point has had recent success in the series, these games usually aren't blowouts.

Look for Eureka to jump off the winless list tonight, as they host Lincoln Christian, usually a winnable game for SLIAC teams....

On Saturday, my still alive winless contest team, Blackburn, hosts new to D3 and SLIAC Iowa Wesleyan.  IWC (not to be confused with IWU) had been a relatively competitive team at the NAIA D2 level, but lost everyone to graduation last year... they have one win this year, against Faith Baptist Bible... and were beat badly by Westminster in their SLIAC debut... Iowa Wesleyan and Principia are Blackburn's best shots at wins this year.

Guilford and VA Wesleyan are both undefeated.  I assume they play each other soon.
