Greek Tragedy

In general, I think we try to avoid that. If someone picks a team that has already been taken, it's known who the 1st person was and who gets the actual win if a "tie" occurs. It's no fun picking a team that's already taken, but we can't make a poster switch.

Like last year, November 1 at midnight United States Eastern time will be the official start of submitting your undefeated and winless teams.  ;D

Try to avoid multiple picks of the same team please.

I still think it would be more fun, more competitive, to not allow duplicate picks...

The problem is I get out typed by those sly foxes Magicman & Mr. Y, one of whom steals my undefeated team and the other steals my winless team  ;D

hopefan

uh oh, I'm 50 seconds off of D3hoops time... must post at 10:59:10 central  time....    :o :o
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

It won't last once they hit the CCIW, but Augustana for undefeated. (hopefully I'll still be alive as the new year starts!)

Currently no idea for winless. (so an opportunity for you, 7express!)

ronk

I'll choose Scranton for undefeated and Wilson for winless.

7express

Winless: Cairn
Unbeaten: Eastern Connecticut.  That's gonna be a pretty good team.  Won't finish unbeaten, but if they beat WPI opening night, they should be undefeated heading to Amherst on January 5.

Mr. Ypsi

Probably not a good pick (they seem to be improving), but I guess I'll go with perennial doormat Earlham for winless.

(Sorry, 7express, but you didn't jump in quickly enough.  But I suspect they will have a win before 2016 rolls around. :P)

Huh??  Reading was one of my better subjects, math was the subject I struggled in.   How did I not jump in quickly enough??

Give Yipsi the business 7express. He deserves it for not reading before posting.

I thought long and hard about taking Oswego State, hopefan, and in fact had them typed into my post at one point. I didn't like the fact that they had to open the season at St. Lawrence. The last time that happened in 2011-12, Oswego put together a 26-4 campaign, but lost that first game to the Saints, 66-62. I was also scared of that game against Middlebury in the Rochester tournament on 11-28. The Panthers are an improved team this year and will be a tough out. But I'm rooting for you.  On the negative side Chatham could be a winner. I overlooked them, but you, with all the DIII teams in the world on your spread sheet, including all the new ones, may have found a gem.

And we are 2 crazy old guys for sure. But...but...WE ARE NOT ALONE!!  :D

Plus K to you.

I have to admit, I don't know nearly or half as much about D3 Bball as all you do, but I thought I'd make an attempt at this by making a run through the D3 teams:

Unbeaten: Penn State-Behrend (because why not?)
Winless: Summit (which means that it could come down to 7express and I, lol)
