LOL who/where's Summit??  Did Pat Summit get a school named after her  ;D

Also my pick (Cairn) plays Ronk's pick (Wilson) the opening weekend.  One of us is going to be out early.  Actually I could have both picks knocked out that day.

I have to admit, I don't know nearly or half as much about D3 Bball as all you do, but I thought I'd make an attempt at this by making a run through the D3 teams:

Unbeaten: Penn State-Behrend (because why not?)
Winless: Summit (which means that it could come down to 7express and I, lol)

Dragged you over here, didn't I?     Summit is as good a choice as any for the winless crown and Behrend could go deep as well. I don't believe that above statement that you don't know half as much as we do. I think you should have used one of these   ;) again, at the end of that statement.  ;D

Formally Baptist Bible, as Magicman points out 1 second before I post  ;D. One of the reasons I picked them is my head scratching about never having heard of them at first. In the same conference as Cairn, though, so if you do make it past week 1, the next best chance for a win may be Summit :).

ronk

Summit is not a new team but a new name for the former Baptist Bible who usually had a decent record each year.

One of the reasons I didn't choose either one of those 2 teams. Which bad team will be the worst? Flip a coin to predict the winner/loser of that game. I moved on as soon as I saw that. :P

You and Mr. Ypsi have a lot in common. :o ;D

Baptist Bible  2-23 last year...3-22 in 2011-12....2-22 in 2009-10.   Not so good. Had a winning record back in 2007-08, but it was a weaker conference.

Undefeated: St John Fisher
Winless: Earlham Maine Maritime

If they can get by Dickinson at Hoopsville (and because I've picked them they won't) I think SJF could last awhile.
Earlham was the last team standing (sitting?) last year I believe. Hopefully my Grizzlies don't end up giving them their first win again ::)
Next option since Earlham was gone... I'll go with a team that likely will play Earlham Dec 20th... Maine Maritime

undefeated  :   Oswego State
winless   :   Chatham

I thought long and hard about taking Oswego State, hopefan, and in fact had them typed into my post at one point. I didn't like the fact that they had to open the season at St. Lawrence. The last time that happened in 2011-12, Oswego put together a 26-4 campaign, but lost that first game to the Saints, 66-62. I was also scared of that game against Middlebury in the Rochester tournament on 11-28. The Panthers are an improved team this year and will be a tough out. But I'm rooting for you.  On the negative side Chatham could be a winner. I overlooked them, but you, with all the DIII teams in the world on your spread sheet, including all the new ones, may have found a gem.

And we are 2 crazy old guys for sure. But...but...WE ARE NOT ALONE!!  :D

Plus K to you.

Unfortunately, Chatham's first game is against Penn State - New Kensington.. they've been pretty bad, and I figured Chatham would schedule very weak in a first game looking to start with a win...but if we get by that, Chatham has nothing but D3 games the rest of the way... Chatham is located in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh, kind of right across the street from CMU, and down the street from Pitt.. was the ritzy girls school in Pittsburgh when I was there... but later than our friends at Vassar, Sage, and Skidmore, they finally opened the doors to guys...I became aware of them early on as I always follow the President's Conference,  growing up in Suburban Pittsburgh... high school sweetheart went to Grove City (tho I was too shy to let her know I considered her my sweetheart).. ::)

Oswego or one other school.. both had good records last year and lots of people back... was very prepared to go with school B if you beat me to the punch on Oswego... I tried Oswgo a couple of years ago, pretty sure Middlebury took them out early....
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Guess I was thinking of the previous 2 years when they won 16 games over that span.

I'm guessing school B was Elmhurst. ???

I'll take Sarah Lawrence for winless. Hope for undefeated even though they play a brutal November schedule.
