Did you know Whitworth brought in a freshman who averaged 36ppg in high school?

Of course  not! Only thing that concerns me is the early game vs Northwest. I know nothing about them, but they aren't D3.

If people are really hung up on the fact that Penn College is a provisional, I'll change it. But, as hopefan said, the Wildcats are members of a D3 conference and are playing 23 D3 teams. Their provisional status really isn't going to affect the outcome of any of those games.

As for Randy-Mac, y_jack's it's all about the pre-Christmas gamble. If you can survive the contest to that point, anything can happen.

Good luck! I know Mary Washington had a tough year last year but they are coached by the guy who made Cabrini a good team. CNU is usually decent. Lynchburg played well early last season -- not sure what they've got this year. Then an unknown opponent in the Frostburg tourney which could turn out to be Frostburg, who R-MC lost to last year. I'd say you took quite a gamble but I appreciate that you did.

You could just take a stab in the dark at 2 teams and just might come up with a winner. Maybe thought isn't required...just plain old luck. Then you could brag about how your "instincts" led you to pick the winner.

That's why I'm glad he's in Michigan and I'm in Northern New York. The Greek is way too close to him.
