This is the first year of the Great Lakes Christian women's program.  They have had roster issues, including playing one game with only 5 players available. 

January 30 they play at Calvin College. 

At some point GLC is going to have to make the decision to suspend play, but that's just my personal opinion.

That same Great Lakes Christian played a men's soccer game at Calvin this fall.  Calvin is in the D-3 Final Four, and is undefeated (one tie), but has been criticized for their weak schedule (no serious challenger in the MIAA, and the non-conference schedule is worse still).  Never was this more the case that against Great Lakes Christian.  A quick glance at the box score shows that GLCC had exactly 12 players (one reserve), and two of the players were apparently women (Megan and Jade).  But Calvin did squeak by with a 14-0 win and a 35-1 shot differential.

Considering they have already won AT IWU and Elmhurst (and at home over Wheaton), and looking at their remaining schedule, I almost wish I could switch to Benedictine!   (I have little doubt that my pick, Augie, would crush them, but Benedictine doesn't face Augie's remaining schedule! )

Augustana did scrimmage with Benedictine on November 6, tieing in the first half and winning by 8 or so in the second half (Per Titan Q).

Ypsi, you beat me to the draw on picking my alma mater for unbeaten, so I settled for Elmhurst.  I'd be happy for you to have Benedictine if I could claim Augustana (despite the long odds of their going unbeaten).   

I wouldn't be opposed to the swap, but I suspect many would oppose such a late set of choices.

I doubt Benedictine can go undefeated (even though their two toughest games are already in the rear-view mirror), but the odds that Augie can go undefeated are almost astronomical.
