Wash & Jeff was down 15 in the second half, but they've got it back even with three minutes to go.

They made it to overtime.

Double overtime!

And not enough, the Presidents are still winless.

In the 'almost winless but not quite there' category.. Franklin lost by 18 tonight to Manchester... notable because it was in OT. ???
Saturday sees 1-17 Earlham @ 1-17 Franklin... Franklin's only win was by 8 at Earlham earlier this year.

Did you guys hack 'em enough in OT?

Manchester hit two threes then 14 straight points on free throws.

Franklin (1-18) now has a worse record than Earlham (2-17) thanks to the Quakers winning 76-72 over the Grizzlies today :'(
Am I going to have to select my Grizzlies in the winless next year? ::)

Kalamazoo has come oh-so-close to beating #15 Alma not once but twice this season. On January 6 Alma squeaked by the Hornets by one in overtime in Kalamazoo, and today Alma prevailed by five at home in a game that wasn't decided until the final thirty seconds.

With Wash & Jeff's resounding win over Chatham tonight, we have a winner in the winless contest.  None of us picked them, but the Curry Colonels are the last team without a victory.  Sorry guys.

Kalamazoo should get off the list soon.  They've been playing really well, but they must have royally pissed off the scheduler.  After tonight, they'll have played 9 conference games (of 14) and 6 of those 9 have been against Alma, Trine, Hope, and Calvin.  The end of the year should afford them opportunity to beat a d3 team.

The team I highlighted in your post may be one of the Hornet's opportunities to win.  They seem to struggle when they play at Kalamazoo.

It's time to see where our teams have the best chance to lose (or win):

Benedictine (94%) at Lakeland (2/20). They're almost 100% locks (Massey has them at 100% but I think that's rounding, there's always uncertainty) against their other two opponents.

John Carroll (52%) at Marietta (2/13). May be an unhappy Valentine's Day.

Lancaster Bible (79%) at Gaullaudet (2/19). The other four games are as locky as locks can be.

Curry (21%) vs. Western New England (2/10). If not there, there's a 14% they could beat Gordon.

Kalamazoo (34%) at Olivet (2/10). Their other chance may be Calvin (12%).

BTW - Curry's not dead last. They're #411 in Massey. Franciscan is last.

Curry's not even that bad.  I saw them in person at Thanksgiving and I thought they looked like a 6 or 7 win team.  Tough year to be a Colonel.

You have to be rather unlucky, as well as untalented compared to your league, to go winless. Stuff and things happen.
