There was also a Miltonvale Wesleyan College, located in Miltonvale, KS. It merged with Bartlesville Wesleyan College (Bartlesville, OK) in 1972.

Bartlesville Wesleyan changed its name a decade and a half ago to Oklahoma Wesleyan University. That disappointed me. Bartlesville Wesleyan easily had the most interesting name of all the Wesleyans.

Well, with less than a week to go before we can officially make our undefeated and winless picks, I started going through some teams. IF Albertus Magnus didn't open up against Babson, I probably would've picked them. Johnson & Wales loses their 2 big guns, so they shouldn't be a threat this year. With Lovell and Walters back, Albertus Magnus may be the team to beat in the weak GNAC.

I can also turn this around for your Greek: IF Albertus can beat Babson, they are probably going to be undefeated for a while.  It's just a matter of whether you want to take that chance or not.

I'm sorry I missed this reference, but I preferred not to view this board.

True enough. Back in 2005, I wanted to pick Lawrence but they played preseason #2 Oshkosh, so I picked someone else. Low and behold, Lawrence beat Oshkosh and went on have an undefeated regular season.

I generally do terribly at this so everyone bet on Babson in game 1
And I'll stick close to home for my winless even though they have a shot at wins early

And we already have a change.

Unbeaten: St. Norbert.  Forgot Newport was going to the Hoopsville classic.  St. Norbs schedule looks like a joke.

I'll keep my winless pick.......for now but of course that is subject to change between now and midnight on November 15.

Undefeated: St. Norbert
Winless: Otterbein

The Green Knights will have three fairly tough road games early on (UWEC, Benedictine, and UWO), but if they can get through them I don't see them being challenged by anybody else on the sked.
