And there are many many more terrible teams than there are elite teams to choose from.

Not necessarily... it may seem that way, but over the years the number remaining winless has been pretty level with remaining undefeated week by week... We usually start showing them in mid to late December, apart from the contest....  it just seems more difficult to pick a team that will go long without getting beat, but simple math tells you there is as many losses as their are wins out there... ;D

I managed to switch from a team that lost night one (Albertus Magnus) to another team that lost night one (S Vermont). One of these years I'm going to pick a team that makes it to December

Do we have the times when the games ended to see who actually lost first?  ???  ;D :P  ::)

I'm guessing Southern Vermont since they are out on the East Coast and Susquehanna went 2 OTs to lose. St. Norbert and St. Thomas were in the Central time zone and Hardin-Simons is Mountain time?

Not sure if Susquehanna was playing a single game or a double header with the women.  The SVC/Keene game was game 2 of a Keene double header.  Women's game ran long, so this game didn't end until about 9:40.
