My Fontbonne Griffins survived their first "winless" test with a 100-27 loss to Missouri State.

You had no worries at all Augie.. Even if Fontbonne had pulled the all time major upset... it was an exhibition game!!

So both my undefeated and winless teams are 0-0.  I'd say that's great picking!

Lancaster Bible lost a nailbiter to F&M. So my gamble that LBC could go on a long winning streak if they could get past the Dips ends up a snake-eyes roll, and, as usual, I crapped out early in the undefeated portion of this contest.

LBC embarrassed F&M last year - even with the terrible team they have this year, Dips weren't losing this one.  Scary close, though.

After losing their starting 5, I thought Lancaster Bible would have been the terrible team this year.  ???

I picked them because of their terrible schedule, not because of their returning cast.

Ah, when in doubt, don't pick against the AMCC in the winless contest...they'll find a way to lose a game to your team.

I must self-report. I did not know Rivier was playing Unity in a tournament. You all can guess what happened...

My Franciscan Barons have dropped their first three games by healthy margins. They won 1 game last year and that was against Mount Aloysius by 2 points. They won't host the Mount until January 18th. That may be the first chance they have for a win.

Amherst has started strong but the big game looming is Babson on December 12th where I will go head to head with my friend, hopefan. I'm glad the game is at Amherst. Tough to go to their house and win. Both teams should remain undefeated until that big matchup.

I never did pick a winless team, but if I were picking now, I think Wash&Jeff would be the right choice.  Wow they're bad.
