I've been rolling the dice on these pools for a long time, and have always come up short.  I had to eventually hit one right.   ;)

I look forward to receiving my winner's share.  ;D

I feel like I should get the second prize card, since I finished second.  I do take some moral victory for choosing an off the radar team and almost winning the pool.

Agree with that... Swarthmore was really out of nowhere... fantastic pick..

In a battle of the undefeateds, Cal Lutheran wins at Occidental, 74-65.... knocking Occidental off the undefeated list.... number of undefeateds now stand at 9.

Again, this doesn't seem like a lot. Either that, or we stunk at picking them this year.

I clearly stunk... my winless team (Earlham) is currently 4-5 while my unbeaten team (S Vermont) is 2-8 :-[

I missed out on picking Millikin - but they play so many SLIAC teams (and Earlham), I figured they couldn't possibly lose them all.  Wrong.  They are 0-4 against SLIAC teams, and lost to friggin' Earlham.  I'd say they are now a safe bet to go 0-for-the-season. ::)

If we had a mid-season draft of teams still eligible for undefeated or winless, not sure who I'd select for undefeated, but Millikin would be my choice for winless (since other more obvious chances are already taken).

I posted after the first weekend when I saw them lose to Westminster and Greenville, if they didn't beat Earlham, they'd go winless... the amazing thing is they only lost to North Central by 6, but it was an 11 point difference with 25 seconds and they made a couple of 3's.
BUT WATCH OUT... in the Wittenburg Tourney, they'll likely match up with Geneva College on Dec. 30... Geneva is 5-3, but the level of play in the President's Conference is likely beneath the CCIW level... it could present an opportunity for a Millikin win... (assuming Witt beats Millikin and Calvin beats Geneva on the 29th)

Washington and Jefferson is the worst team in D3 this year.  They play in a terrible conference, so they might actually win some games, but even if Millikin spotted them 10 points, I'd still pick Millikin to win.

A shame W&J and Franciscan don't play each other....

Have you watched Millikin this year?  Even as low as NPU fell for awhile, Millikin is quite conceivably the worst team in CCIW history.

Though I confess I haven't researched this and may have overlooked someone even more dreadful.
