Did we ever find out the non D-3 schedule for Rust. There are a lot of Unity type schools in the south (not in hippie-ness, but in shambolic basketball talent).

Well, I gave up.... D3 games are probably all there, but good luck finding every game vs non D3 opponents...

I took some time and looked up the schedules of a handful of schools that Rust has played in the past and schedules of some possibilities that were on THOSE schools schedules... Found that Rust is on Fisk's schedule on Jan 9 and Feb 10  and on Stillman's schedule on Dec 8 and Feb 4... Rust - Stillman score from Dec 8?  Anybody?   Anybody?

Anyway, that's 4 more games added to the 18 that show on D3hoops Sched makes 22... that leaves a possibility of 3 more to be identified... they were NOT on Oakwood, Linsay Wilson, Voorhees, Morris, Wiley, Talladega, Toogaloo, Texas College, Hiwasee, Paul Quinn, Miles, Philander Smith, or Concordia New Orleans!!!!

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

It might be simpler to call the athletic department or the coach.

According to Massey, it was Stillman 96, Rust 60.

They also lost to Alcorn state last night 83-68 for those counting on another list.

Massey has them beating Texas College 78-76 on the 15th of November, though the Alcorn State box had them at 1-12. Of course, they may have gotten that from D-3 hoops since this site had them at 1-11.

Discounting the two games against Wiley (exhibitions now doubt because they're before 11/15) - Massey has them at 2-13 with only four games left on their schedule.

Lots of luck getting someone to pick up the phone... per my experience this fall ::) ::)

Mr. Ypsi

Well, someone had to fall of the undefeated list.  Still undefeated Ramapo handed Salisbury their first loss tonite in Las Vegas, 66-65.  Both teams shot a lot of bricks - 84 rebounds is a ton of missed shots!  I'd normally assume good defense when two undefeated teams shoot so poorly, but both teams shot UNDER 50% from the line. ::)

Mr. Ypsi

Salisbury shot 36.7% overall, 38.2% from 3, and 44.4% from the line.  Ramapo shot 44.4% overall, 33.3% from the arc, and 48.4% from the line.  They combined for 33 turnovers.  Kinda have to wonder how these teams entered the game a combined 17-0! :o ::)

They're both very good defensive teams.  That showed.

Yeah, their FT defense was especially impressive! ::)

Curry 61  UMPI 57   :-\

Curry's first win since their last game of the 2014-15 season.

magicman

With Curry winning on Friday and ending their 33 game losing streak that leaves Greek Tragedy and me as the two survivors fighting it out for the Winless Crown.

It could be a short wait as 0-11 Franciscan takes on 0-12 Pitt-Greensburg this coming Wednesday Jan. 4th. At least it's a road game for the Barons. That gives me some hope.

Greek's team, Washington and Jefferson, will have one of their best shots at picking up a W when they play Chatham on Saturday, January 7th, but that's a road game so I don't think they pull it off. Maybe when they host Chatham on February 4th. By then they could be the winner of the Winless  Crown.
