Was curious to see how Scranton had managed to get off to a hot start and the roster provides the answer -- will that team EVER run out of Danzigs??  Every four years, another one seems to appear.

Also happy to see that Scranton is lead by Matthew Mancuso, a Bridgewater-Raritan (NJ) alum (my alma mater).  BRHS has had a crazy-good recent run of D3 hoops stars for a public high school -- before Mancuso, Eric Murdock, Jr., Vinny Pace, Andrew August, and James McNally, just an incredible number of big-time D3 stars from one high school over the past decade.  I have to think they'd do well against any other lineup of recent D3 players from a single school, and certainly a single public school ...

Ha. This is the last one, unfortunately. May turn out to be the best of the bunch, but time will tell. Mancuso has started off strong this season, after being overshadowed and a few hiccups. I am aware of Vinny Pace, but where did the rest of them play?

Murdock (son of an NBA BRHS alum) - TCNJ
McNally - F&M
August - Montclair

All all-region guys, or better.

ronk

Scranton was in the running to recruit Pace. Mancuso will also be in the running for all-region or better, this season. The only one that has slowed him so far is Matt, himself.
