Undefeated list gets shorter, as Yeshiva, DeSales, and Rensselaer all lost yesterday.

Platteville [a 2x undefeated national champ under Bo Ryan] hosts Oshkosh on 1/19 and travels there on 2/2

Amherst and Williams tangle twice on 1/08 and 1/19.

Clark has a daunting schedule with 8 games against teams in the top 100.

St. Joe's [CT] seems to have the easiest path to an undefeated regular season.

Visiting Amherst spoiled Williams perfect season last Saturday 65-73.  Clark lost to visiting 8-4 Emerson last night 59-72.

That leaves St. Joe's (CT) 9-0 which looks like it has a clear path to run through the regular season, and Wisconsin-Platteville, 15-0 which has twice been the undefeated national champions of DIII under Bo Ryan, although Platteville has three games against ranked teams remaining.

Slipped past me last week but Finlandia ended its very long losing skid against D3 competition with an 88-86 win over Northland.   That's the Lions first D3 win since mid-December of the 2017-18 season a streak that reached 53 consecutives games.

Congrats to the Lions.

I'll up date these after the weekend probably.

Mr. Ypsi

When I used to participate in the undefeated/winless contest, I recall than Finlandia was ALWAYS among the first picks for winless, but I hadn't realized things were to the point of a 53-games winless streak!  (Of course, the contest didn't distinguish winless against D3 vs. winless in all games.

Their overall winless streak hit 66 before a win over Moody Bible in December.  In between D3 wins, the Lions had recorded 3 total wins,  Bay College, Holy Family, and Moody Bible.

Also of note, the Lions only have 5 remaining games with a possible 6th rescheduled on their 2022 schedule.

We drop Clark(Ma) and Williams from the undefeated leaving us just two and St. Joseph's Conn looks like the better bet to ace the season.

Dropping out of winless:  Houghton beat fellow winless Hartwick,  and Purchase picked up a W.   We're left with 6 and Hartwick and Keuka meet next Saturday.

Vs. D3:   Finlandia, Maine-Presque Isle, St. Vincent and Willamette all picked up their first D3 wins since last time.

Fredonia and Buffalo State play twice on 1/28 and 2/12. so at least one will drop off the winless list.
