Mr. Ypsi

St. Xavier is not JUST the #4 ranked team in NAIA D1; they beat d1 UIC, which, in their next game, beat Ga. Tech by about 20.  In all likelihood IWU just beat the best team they will play this year, and beat them by TWENTY points.

I'd still put it at a long shot that IWU will run the table, but I am upgrading the chances of an undefeated National Championship season from 10% to 20%.  It is still NEARLY impossible to go undefeated in the CCIW, but this team will be FAVORED in every game they play (barring MAJOR injuries).

Can we take any comfort from the fact that Title and Titans share the first three letters?

Wooster rolls over Denison by a bunch (34, I think it was) and York won by far more than the final margin (according to the CAC board, Goucher went 19-0 to close the game after York cleared the bench - apparantly York was up 80-45 when the starters left), but Catholic got smoked by Mary Washington.

The pool dwindles to seven:  Amherst, Hope, IWU, Mississippi College, Wooster, WPI, and York.  Who will be next to be 'voted off the island'? :-\

Greek Tragedy

I'll keep track of the winners and more importantly the losers, but won't put up the official list until Sunday...

Thanks for your help Mr. Ypsi

What happens if the last team to lose is one other than the teams we have picked?

Specifically I'm thinking Wittenberg for example?

I think the winner is the last team to lose of the ones we picked.

If none of us picked the right team, I don't think any of us deserve to win or claim any sort of title.

I will start listing ALL perfect records (winning and losing) after this weekend.

Anyone for the heck ot it, interested in having a D3hoops postup bottom 10 poll this season?  If so and if we had 5-10 regular voters, I would be happy to collect the votes and tabulate.  It might be fun.
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

I'm in - when I start doing my power ratings I always get try to list the bottom 10.
