So Maine Maritime wins over Maine Presque Isle  94-67, dropping off our winless vs D3 list, and covering the spread, sending Old School to the poor farm.   Don't worry OS, we won't tell your sweetheart... what happens on D3Hoops stays on D3 Hoops ;D ;D

John Jay just misses falling off the winless list, losing by 3 to Hunter.

Uh, where did I come in on this?  ???  Don't remember commenting on the huge Maritime v Presque Isle game...oh well!

Anyway, I did see on the listing that that very game will be shown on ESPN Classic as an Instant Classic!  Check your local listings!  ;D

Clark 72, WPI 67, FINAL

And we have a winner!  Congratulations to those who picked Hope: Flying Dutch Fan and hope1!

Now, can you outlast the unbeatens who were NOT selected in the Pool? ;D

(Man, I've gotta become a faster typist!  I see titanfan scooped me!)

Huge game in the UAA tomorrow between undefeated NYU (11-0) and Carnegie Mellon (11-1).  NYU showed they are legit with a stomping of Rochester by 18 last night and CMU is also coming off an 18 point conference win over Brandeis where they led by as much as 33.  Should be a good one.

Flying Dutch Fan

Sooooo- I guess I get to start bragging about winning (along with hope1) - unless there is some kind of cash reward - or perhaps a pair of tickets to the finals :)

Well this is one that you have to ask  -  Did they get the score right???

If so, the upset of the year

Winless(no longer) Chestnut Hill  76    Scranton  64
Scranton came into the game with an 8-2 record

And just to make it a little more remarkable, it was at Scranton, in a tourney.   The release notes That Scranton was missing 3 starters due to injury.

WOW

Most of our perfect teams played last night and showed real staying power.  Only 2 fell off our lists that weren't playing each other  -  the previously mentioned Chestnut Hill and WPI.  oh ok  Presentation finally played a D3 team, and lost, and Minnesota Morris beats Northland to fall off the winless vs D3 teams, but I had  not been tracking the newly formed UMAC

Of course when two perfects in the same group play each other, something's got to give:
Greenville falls off the winless vs D3, leaving Fontbonne on the list by beating them by 15

Everyone else stays!!!!

CMU hands NYU its first loss of the season 89-85 in two overtimes.  The unbeatens are down by one to 5 teams (Hope, Hamilton, Widener, Lawrence and North Central).

hopefan

whoa there hugenurd  -  lest anyone think there was another upset out there, the number is 6 Undefeateds  -  you forgot Hampden Sydney

Sorry, I guess I missed them.  My main point was the NYU lost.  Sorry again for the misinformation.

Sorry, OS, but you are history!

But congratulations on outlasting me and the others who picked the #1 team in the country (who ALSO lost at home!). ;)

[Though at least we had the grace to lose to an undefeated team!]  ;D
