E Nazarene jumps off the winless list in a big way, crushing Anna Maria, 81-43.
Don't imagine we have many fans from either school, but the margin of victory here is "shocking"....  Anna had been pretty competitive in most games... wonder what happened?

Anna Maria's top scorer and team leader, freshman Madsen Loussaint has been conspicuously absent from their line-up since they retrurned from holiday break.  They weren't a very good team before then, but now I have to say, they would lose to Caltech (no offense to Caltech) handily.  AMC already had lost their leading scorer from last year after only a game or two and their #2 and #3 guys never came back... none of these losses were to graduation.  The program is not doing well.

'Tis a shame - his name is definitely memorable.

Well, raise my rent.

The CCNY Women won a game! (Remember, they lost to Endicott earlier in the year 118-6). They beat New York City Tech 65-48.

In the heady afterglow of the big win, they crumpled to earth the next day and lost to New Paltz State 70-29.

geesh, ask and you shall receive....  thanks hoops, a trivial question gets answered right off the bat.... I knew something must have gone sour at AM given that score.

And Smed, thanks for the update on the CCNY ladies  -  wonder how the Unity guys have been doing????

Well just to begin with:

Hope  gone  loses to Albion
Hampden Sidney    gone   losed to Randolph Macon
Widener    gone   loses to Albright.
2 undefeateds left  -  North Central  and  Lawrence

Undefeated vs D3 stays intact  Albion, Calvin, Bluffton, and Oxy (assuming they won)

John Jay beats Brooklyn to fall off the winless list, Webster beats Westminster Mo to get off winless vs D3  -  a couple of scores not yet posted, but that may be it for the winless teams.

With only two remaining, and now just conference games, which is tougher, the MWC or the CCIW?  Hmmm.  With due respect to Lawrence (whom I picked), unless you blow it big time, I think you are a lock! ;D

True, but Lawrence does have two tests in the next week.  Friday they play host to Grinnell and anything can happen when they play.  Also, next week Wednesday Carroll comes to the Alex.  Carroll is probably the only team that has a realistic chance to make a run for the conference title, aside from Lawrence.  Though both games are at home, it won't be a cakewalk.

Fans of Unity - they are off until January 22. Hopefully they got some practices in amongst the hacky sack games!  :P

Looking at last night's scores, Danny Webster acts like a winless member should, not winning by 44, but East Naz and Albertus Pujolius Magnus almost embarrass themselves by posting close losses.
