Men's D3 Massey Ratings with MOV

Men's D3 Massey Ratings without MOV (although I consider these pretty worthless; I mean, c'mon, they have Lake Erie #4!)

I can see my poll is not being given much respect  -  perhaps we should have a panel of voters  -  I must say that Prin's meager 11 point loss last night may move them out of the top spot  -  however, my poll is listed to reflect likelihood of finishing winless, which does not necessarily reflect weakness relative to the other candidates  -  I don't have a weakness of schedule factor....   ;D ;D   I will not allow myself to be influenced by other ratings such as Massey!!!!
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Does your ranking take MOD into account or not? That's the deciding factor for me. :)

Last year we chatted a bit about some of the loveable losers on the women's side.

Mt. Mary is 0-7 and lost to Dubuque 100-19. Can someone explain this box score??

CCNY is o-fer and lost 75-15 to King's Point (Merchant Marine).

NY Maritime hasn't played many games, but they have a couple of doozies.

A 113-16 drubbing by Maine Maritime. 58 Turnovers. Poor Erika Ramirez 0-1 with 17 turnovers.

They also got whopped 98-18 by Medgar Evans. Poor Maritime was outrebounded 83-38.

Yikes!

But one wonders what would happen if, say, Wooster played Albertus...

I saw 12 minutes of Albertus Magnus last night before the Wesleyan/Amherst game. They only suited up seven players.

For Mount Mary/Dubuque -- I see two foulouts on the Mount Mary side. Do we think they called the game a couple minutes early? Or did they just not add up all of Dubuque's minutes?

What don't you understand about it?

There's 39 steals for ME-Maritime.  That's a pretty impressive stat too.

Maybe they let the clock run during FTs at the end, but didn't count those as minutes played?

This evening, I plan to attend the Kenyon/Hiram game, then drive 20-some-odd miles to catch the second half of Denison vs. Oberlin.  Now, this year, these teams may not individually be in contention for the Worst Team in D3 trophy (the "Pressboard and Tin," as opposed to the "Walnut and Bronze"), but I defy any of you to find a better evening of back-to-back bad basketball ("BBBB").   ;D

Wow!  Does your shrink know about these masochistic tendencies? :o

You could do it quite easily in New England.  Becker and Anna Maria are only about ten minutes from each other.  Curry and ENC are even closer.

In fact, Pat could watch the first half of Albertus Magnus and Rivier on Feb 17th and then drive the 45 minutes to Mitchell and catch them play Newbury.  I dare say none of those four teams could beat any of the four you're seeing this evening.

Massey w/MOV has Kenyon at #201 in D3, making them the overwhelming favorite in tonight's quartet.  Hiram is #306, Oberlin is #319, and Denison is a sterling #355.  And no fewer than two of these teams will make the conference tournament.  In fact, Hiram is currently in *gulp* fourth place in the NCAC.   ::)

Yes, you could do it...but will you?  :D

The main issue is that there are hardly any defensive rebounds in that box score, but plenty of DEADBALL rebounds.

Oh, I bet they called the game early!

Well, you know, technically once the ball hits the floor the rebound can't be given to an individual.  Maybe that's it.
