Newbury really stinks.  I never thought they'd beat anybody by that much, even a high school team.  I'm still betting Albertus is worse though.

Hoops, I would have sworn that you were from Kansas City, but you seem very familiar with New England   -- where are you?

I'm in KC now, but I'm from New England, went to school there and will be going back there once I finish this master's degree.

Amherst survives OT at Tufts 94-92 ;D

The survival poll hits high drama tommorrow as both our survivors' teams face stiff challenges.

Amherst vs Bates
Whitworth vs Puget Sound

Good chance we'll have a winner tommorrow.

Whitworth vs Puget Sound is tonight, according to the schedule...

Amherst should've lost, so we'll conveniently mark that down as one! lol  ;D

Time for a rebound, Bates!  Make Maine a winner over the Jeffs.  The women of Maine have dominated for years - time for the men to come through.

I'm not really rooting against you, sac, but I've got Bates in the pick-ems; besides, I've also got Puget Sound in the pick-ems tonite!  I need you BOTH to fall! ;D

Mr. Ypsi

And sac is the survivor, as Puget Sound knocks off Whitworth, 77-72!

So, sac, now that you've already won, will you join me in cheering for Bates?

Thank you, I'd like to thank the committee for providing this opportunity its a lovely award and will look nice packed in a box and stored along with the rest of my stuff.

Special thanks to Williams for being down this year, you made my pick easier ;D :D ;)  Also a thanks to Northern Michigan for beating Point, Puget Sound for the late night shocker, and to the other picksters who still believe that a midwest, great lakes or wiac team can actually go undefeated.  Oh yeah and thanks to whoever beat the Violets........that would have been embarassing :D ;)

After years of futily picking midwest and great lakes teams it dawned on me.......and I went with Amherst. ;D

Your acceptance speech basically explains D3 Hoops this year! :D :D :D

And, Wesley (MI) won't beat Mississippi College one year in ten.  This was the year. :-\
