Thanks for the score.  I looked at the website, but couldn't find it.  One of their wins was an exhibition game.  Apparently the UMAC doesn't care that the game didn't count.  I've updated below accordingly.

Ah, of course. Well, Crown probably sent in the stats as if it was a real game.

I would if I were them.

+K to Ralph for the great research!  Actually, he probably didn't have to research; he probably knows all there is to know about the Manitoba Freemen without having to look them up!  :)

How about the 2005-2006 Providence College and Seminary Freemen:

0-20 Regular season record
0-1 in NCCAA Regional Tournament
0-3 in NIAC Conference Tournament
2-2 in the ACCA National Tournament

An 0-24 team plays in a national tournament (all the way in Oklahoma City) and wins two of four games!

The ACCA is the tournament for all the schools that aren't good enough to compete in the NCCAA, which is about the biggest joke around.

UMAC site says Presentation won 61-43. UMAC site also has Crown at 2-16.

That second win is over Providence College and Seminary, Otterburne, Manitoba.

In that case, it doesn't count. Games played against Canadian teams are not counted as part of a team's record.

However, I've always said that a game against a Canadian team should count as .85 of a normal game. :D

We covered that earlier, Sager.  D3hoops lists it as an exhibition, but the conference website counts it.

Greg, that is pretty good accuracy for the exchange rate.

I think we need to schedule a post season tourney - an 8 way classic like the Alaska shootout, featuring my bottom 8 (seeded):

D'Youville vs. Crown
Green Mountain vs. Maine - Presque Isle
Eastern Nazarene vs. Bard
Becker vs. Mt. St. Vincent.

Can you imagine the thrill in the air for the 7th place game as D'Youville faces Eastern Nazarene?
