Noted and thought of you, Hoops  -  they were a mainstay on the winless list last year as I remember.

Not to be a downer, but taking Wash U or any UAA school for that matter just is not a good choice strategically. Their schedules are just too difficult to go undefeated, especially with the home and home format.

Frankly, I think picking a NESCAC school seems to be the way to go, since some of them aren't really taxed until the conference season, and then with only single round robin...etc...etc...

Normally I would agree, but it seems like New England as a region is pretty tough this year, so might not be too wise.

Farewell, Smedindy and Cardinal Pride: Lake Erie 86, Wooster 84.

Upon what basis are you saying that the Northeast Region is tough this season? In other words, to which inter-regional games are you pointing that lead you to believe that the Northeast Region is better than it usually is?

Yeah, that's probably what did them in.  ;)

Amherst, Williams, and Plattsburgh St. have all won tonight; still waiting on McMurry at ETBU.  (Rochester has the night off.)

New rule next year: no picking Amherst.  I know it's probably the right pick, but it's no fun.
