Another couple of intriguing picks might be Hope, who have their next 9 games at home, or Randolph-Macon, who has two winnable games this week and then is off until Dec. 29.

...of course, I'm talking about the women's teams... ::)

Flying Dutch Fan

I'd take the Hope women's team in a heartbeat - no matter where they are playing.

I'm willing to give them strong odds of finishing the year with two wins on their home floor as well.   ;)

Mr. Ypsi

Just done a bit of research in case the 'winless' pool idea takes hold:

Two obvious contenders would be Caltech and Gaulledet, but note that they play each other Dec 17th - better choose the right one!

If it was just vs. d3, Northland looks tempting, but they opened the season with a win over Northland Baptist Bible.

Perennial candidate Green Mountain is 3-1! :o  They keep that up and someone may pick them next year for the regular survivor pool! ;D

Guess I'll stick with old reliable UMPI.

ypsi  watch out, on Jan 27, umpi plays our old friends from Unity, who've alreay lost to Maine Maritime by 38
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

My two favorites Centenary and Rutgers Camden, to lose have both won games already this season.

Hold up, isn't the point of this second chance to pick another team that has not lost a game yet for the undefeated survivor..........or a team that has not won a game yet for the non-winners?

I'm sensing confusion and I don't think anyone wants to go back and check records and who won or lost when.

Some of the unbeatens are dropping like flies!

I have to go with my home team of Puget Sound...so far they are 5-0.
Does this take into account all games or just d3 ones?

Any regular season game.

The SECOND CHANCE SURVIVOR POOL is for anyone that wants to pick another team (or first team if you didn't play the first time) that hasn't lost yet and that hasn't already been picked by a poster still alive from the original survivor pool...got it?

We can have a suvivor pool that sees who is the last team to WIN a game as well... I don't care.

Got that all?

For the record, I was going to pick Puget Sound as well, but I'll find someone else.

I'll take Virginia Wesleyan...I don't think anyone took them from the original pool.

As for the LOSERS pool, I'll take Beloit to be the last team to win a game.

Calvin - I always think they are going to win 'em all anyway so I might as well pick them.

They lost on Saturday.

Mississippi College came from 16 points down in the first half against Concordia-Austin (pre-season 4th pick in the 8-team ASC-West) tonight to win 99-89.  It was a one possession game until the last 2 minutes.

Miss College plays at UMHB on Saturday!

I'll take my beloved North Central College!

Even though I got home town love, Puget Sound has a challenging schedule.  They play Warner Pacific a NAIA school ranked in the top 5 and Cal State Stanislas, a D2, and the Edgewood at the end of december.
