this puts us at 6 unbeatens left, no?

coast guard, emerson, massachusetts-dartmouth, williams
rochester and geneseo

LogShow

6 still left is impressive, but I imagine that list will be shorter soon...hopefully the winless list will be getting shorter too.

Congrats to unbearable and Knightstalked, in the 2nd chance, Coast Coast outlasted the rest

atn alum

in thinking about this...do those with roch and williams enter the 2nd chance (with coast guard, if cga still unbeaten) if they lose at any point?

smedindy

I think the 2nd chance train left the station way long time ago...

four teams from the north east...

If the northeast is defined (as it usually is) as the New England States and New York State, then all 6 of them are from the northeast.

As Frank just noted, geographically, ALL are northeast.  Yet only two are ranked in the top 20.  Let the 'potshots' begin as to what that says about the rest of the teams in those areas! ;D

[Though I won't join the 'sniper' chorus.]

Well, something will give this week as Rochester and Geneseo are both in the Chase.  And there can only be one winner...

I just would like to point out for the record that my pick of Coast Guard occurred ten hours before that copycat Knightstalker's, so clearly I have won the coveted second-chance Survivor Pool.  ;)

I plan on updating the "obscure accolades" section of my resume in the morning.

Frank - I thought in these forums we always refer to a region by it's region title :). And being from New England, as I am, I would never call New York State the Northeast... it is just New York! HA... sorry, could resist!

My oldest brother joined the Coast Guard in 72, I actually claimed them 35 years ago.
