Anyone wanna talk me through how to add a picture by my username?

In the space, paste the URL below (since you posted it on the web, all I had to do was open it in it's own window to find the URL for the image.

just so you know, it IS going to squish the image to fit it into the image box... sorta like how my picture is squashed!  :-\

Usee - Last year the week before the Wheaton game, Roe's throwing shoulder got banged up late in the North Central game. It obviously didn't hurt his running, but did affect his throwing ability (not that they throw much anyway).

Whats the Carthage O-Line like this year?

I haven't seen thier offense play...is it still a kind of west coast style or am I totally off base.  I didn't really pay attention to thier O when I played.

It is going to be a beautiful day for football at Ericson Field today.  The sun is hining and the sky is blue.  It is what I call and "Augustana Day."  Just the weather that you would hope for on Homecoming.

As for the talk about team MVP.  The interesting thing about picking Roe is that he really hasn't run the ball all that much this season.  Certainly no 300+ yard games, and definitly no big passing accomplishments.  Someone had put up the stats for the completed passes for Augie that basically spelled out that when Augie completes a pass, it is for a big play.  That is certainly nothing new.  Because the opposing D is so keyed up for the run, that play action pass certainly helps (plus of all the ball faking that goes on with the Wing T).  However you will also notice that the passing game is typically dominated by a rule of thirds.  One third complete for a big play, one third incomplete, and unfortunately one third intercepted!  Yes, the Augie passing game can make a big change in the game, however it is not always in favor of the Vikings.

Cards up 13-0...blocked a Carthage punt, recovered for TD in the endzone.

NCC D is totally dominating Carthage O so far this game.  Carthage wasted a good opportunity with an interception off a tipped pass, but hit a 46 yrd fg.

13-3.  9:00 min left in 1st half.

14 - 7 Wheaton over Elmhurst at the half.  Lots of turnovers on both sides, lots of penalties.  Doesn't sound like a pretty game.

Carthage O, cannot move the ball.  This game is NCC's to give away.  Please don't pull a Wheaton.   ;)
