The french Thunder LB puts the Augie QB in the guillotine and it's over.  Wheaton wins.

Lol... funny analysis Billy... I LOVE IT!

He looked like Maximilien Robespierre storming the Bastille on that blitz!

Billy, thanks for the in-game updates.  Great stuff.  Loved that last line.

Sounds like IWU is tougher than most expected them to be in the preseason.

Mr. Ypsi

Hey, just like I predicted: Wheaton wins fairly easily.  (Well, c'mon, there were no OTs! ;D)

Congrats to the Thunder from your unexpected co-leaders! ;)

Well, what do you do for #200?

Well...Umm...I'd like to thank my Mom and Dad for giving me the roots to grow and wings to fly.  Thank you for always encouraging me to be a part of this game even when I couldn't get a scholarship to play D1.  My brothers for beating on me growing up and making me tougher.  My coaches, teammates and girlfriends that have supported me a long the way.  I know I'm forgetting somebody, but I only have 5 sentences to post.  Oh, I'd like to thank Pat and Keith for setting this site up and giving D3 football fans an outlet to talk football and access fantastic information.  Ok, thanks everybody for helping me reach 200.

Do you think I'm ready for a Grammy speech?

Mr. Ypsi

Wow, BP, either everyone liked your acceptance speech or I suddenly have magical powers - I gave you 'applaud' and your karma jumped THREE points! :D

EDIT: I see now CA also bumped you - wonder who was the third?

Listening to the Bluejay webcast of the game.  Props to jaybird 79 on an excellent broadcast.  Much better than the North Central product.

Agreed! With the visiting bleachers being so low on the visitors' side, it was difficult seeing much of the game. Jaybird's broadcast made a clear picture of what was happening. Also, props and criticisms were given to BOTH teams when appropriate. Again, GREAT job!! The best I've heard in the CCIW. I'm glad I tuned in!

Billy P is on a role tonight!  Congrats and good work with the in-game updates...keep it up!!!

Random thots on AU vs WC.
I think Wheaton just exists to give Augustana passing yard stats.   Do they pass against anyone else?
Great game Wheaton defense held on to overcome the grind of the Wing T.   I think though at the end that Augustana was the defense that wore down when Hershey and Ginng running hard on Wheaton's last drive. Great catch by Pokorny and made up for dropped pass earlier.
Wheaton does not do anything w/o Ittersagen (sp) he's gotta be DPOY maybe even MOPY.

Augie's fumble came on option play that really killed their momentum in first half.
Wheaton did perfect job on turnovers no lost fumbles and interception that ended the half.

Right back at both of you.  Maybe you get a freebe for reaching 200.
