Mr. Ypsi

In two-team ties, I don't know of any conference where head-to-head is not th first tie-breaker.

NCC fan,

First, any DB can catch a ball thrown directly to them (except for me)...how many of NCC's Int's have been great plays by the DB's?  How many were great plays by the guys backing up the injured players.  The backups i saw last week, played undisciplined...and bit on the same play action fake all game.

NCC beat augie ONCE in the last 25 years.  Augie's Offense is designed to horde the ball for the majority of the game and simply wear down the other team.  If you think that NCC is going to blow out Augie like they did last year, than you are being foolish.  Augie is running a different scheme with a different D-Coordinator....and NCC doesn't have the running game they've had.  Last year NCC killed Augie on 3-step passes and the receivers broke tackles.  I would be willing to bet a ton of money that doesn't happen again.  The game is going to be momentus if both teams win today.

Of course, none of this really matters unless NCC takes it to Millikin today.

Wheaton 30 - Carthage 14
Wheaton runs the ball very, very well and limits turnovers.  Good turn around from last week.

Not much defense from Augie today.  Nor from Carthage.
