A really interesting thing about the team stats is that that Wheaton and Naperville have played two common opponents in North Park and Millikin.  Should be some fun comparisons.  Lets start with point differential:
                  Wheaton                                    Naperville
v Millkin           22                                               18
v NPU              28                                               20

All signs continue to point to a excellent contest!

Nice work USee.  As always, you are at the top of your game.

Looking at those stats is incredible.  Looks like an absolute draw on paper.  Should be one heck of a game.  Now, if I can just find a way to pry Cardalum away from the various roasted meat products he'll be injesting on Sat. night.......

Interestingly enough, HSCoach has Wheaton as a +6.5 favorite on the OAC pickem board. But the coaches picked Naperville to win the conference. Something has got to give!

I'll post some other thoughts on this game and the other contests in CCIW as the week progresses.

Has any team swept CCIW POW honors on consecutive weeks? (I assume so) You'll be able to add NCC to that list after this next week!

Greg,  just so you know I wasn't too thrilled with the way my color guy "operated" if you will on Saturday either.  He's in his first year and each week I am trying to help him  get better in the booth.  While it helps that he has seen the game from both as a player and a coach, sometimes that gets in the way too.  I feel sometimes he tends to "beat on a dead horse" which even if you might think that way- but you can never say on the air or in public.

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to see that you recognize the problem and that you're working with him to improve his on-air decorum.

Yes, and it's not the first time that I have been like "Whoa, remember you're in front of a live audience with mixed company"  so I hope he will get better.  He has to learn that even though it can be an Elmhurst bias, it STILL has to be pleasant to mixed company's ears.
I took a few Communications/Public Speaking classes at Elmhurst and I remember some of the key norms that you must abide by when public speaking.

Has any team sweeping the POW honors been shut out of the awards the following week? (I assume so)  You might be able to add NCC to that list instead :)

Exactly! I was expecting at least 5 graphs with any Tom Skilling report.

Ah, EweSea, those graphs are only available for 3 days out! On Thursday maybe I'll get a second to post the information about the slow moving storm that will rain on Northern IL from Thursday through Saturday/Sunday!

No thank you - already this fall I've had salt creek spill over its banks and come within 20 feet of my house (which is 150 feet from the creek).

I am determined to be wise, but this was beyond me.

Who do you suppose a driving rainstorm would benefit the most in this game? Besides the fact that it washes out your tailgate (Billy Graham Center Lot was under 4 ft of water during the Bethel game). :D

Well that's no fun...if it does rain there will be no tailgaiting. Goulet's hair doesn't do well in the rain!
