Anyone know how this upcoming Wheaton/North Central matchup rates in the realm of CCIW inter-conference matchups between two ranked teams? Is this the highest two CCIW teams have been ranked at the time of the matchup?

This was discussed some time ago, but I haven't tried to track it down.  If memory serves, this is the first time the CCIW has ever had two teams in the top 10 at the same time, so clearly would be the highest ranked matchup ever.

Before D3 rankings I would think the Augie/Millikin playoff game back in the late 80's would have ranked pretty high. Augie6 has mentioned that before. The IWU/Wheaton matchups in 1995/1996 were also up there I would bet. Those two teams both went to Mt Union and were competitive in playoffs. (1995 Wheaton/1996 IWU).

I think that the magnetic schedule that is provided for NCC QB Club members listed the game at 6PM. But all other schedules list the game at 7PM.

Agreed, I know that the NCC website had the game as a 6pm start time as recently as a couple weeks ago. Imagine the surprise when I went to synchronize my watch on Sunday and it said 7pm! Preposterous!

Ah, EweSea, those graphs are only available for 3 days out! On Thursday maybe I'll get a second to post the information about the slow moving storm that will rain on Northern IL from Thursday through Saturday/Sunday!

Who do you suppose a driving rainstorm would benefit the most in this game? Besides the fact that it washes out your tailgate (Billy Graham Center Lot was under 4 ft of water during the Bethel game).

Considering how big a game it will be on Saturday, if there's another parking-lot-inundating storm perhaps Billy himself will show up and part the waters for you.
