I'm nnnnnervous. I know we've had Auggie's number the last couple of years and the Cards are a great team. But, this weather reminds me of '05. It won't affect us...It won't affect us...It won't affect us..............

I remember the days when if we beat Augie it would have made our season.  What a change in times.

8:42 left 1st half

Just prior to NCC's 2nd TD, Augie went for it on 4th and 1 from their own 33. NCC stuffed the play and took over. They drove to the Augie 4 where Sulo fumbled and Augie recovered. However, on Augie's 2nd play after the recovery, Venier of NCC intercepted an Augie pass at the Augie 35. NCC then covered the 35 yards in 7 plays to go ahead.

Wheaton dominating IWU thus far... 27-3 with 8 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter.

Rocky Gingg over 120 yards rushing already.  Wheaton with over 330 yards in offense, IWU only 114.

NCC 14 Augie 7 at the half. NCC missed a 37 yd FG attempt as the clock ran out. FG attempt was set up by an Augie pass interference penalty with no time on the clock.

With 2:32 left, Augie missed a 33 yd field goal attempt (LOS was the 17). NCC took over at the 20 and drove to the AC 20. On the last play of the half, NCC missed on a 37 yard field goal attempt. As Augiefan said above, the half would have ended 1 play earlier except for a pass interference call on Augie.

Wheaton was up 37-3 over IWU when a freak tipped pass that should have been a Wheaton INT resulted in a IWU TD.

Wheaton 37, IWU 10 with 4 minutes left.

After interception by Wheaton defense, Wheaton gets 15 yard reception for TD.  44-10 Wheaton with under 2 minutes remaining.

Complete domination by Wheaton.  Where was this team last week?  Other than yards in mop up time, IWU would have been held to under 200 yards for the game.  Ceisel held in check big time... only 50 yards receiving (20 against 2nd team).
