Wow the NCC annound ncers have gone from being good homers to alot of second guessing and very unhappy with Kniss and the refs, which they have been all game.

Way to go Wheaton!  What a dominant victory!!

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing that Little Brass Bell re-match in Naperville as many of us hoped to see.  Injuries took it's toll like it did a year ago for the Thunder.  Kudos to a GREAT season for North Central.

I can't imagine how frustrating it was to listen to the broadcast of the game for North Central fans - it was painful FOR ME as a Wheaton fan - those guys were brutal.  The play-by-play guy hardly let his partner finish a sentence.  And, outright blaming the coaching staff for the loss?  Come on, man!!

As all Cub's fans know, all too well, you'll have to wait 'til next year.  But, it should be another GREAT one for North Central (both because of their players and coaching staff!! ).

There were no "losers" here today in the CCIW.  Yes, only one team is going to be playing next week, but in the playoffs, everybody is a winner.  There is nothing for NC to hang their head about.  3-time CCIW defending champions is a lot to smile about.
Wow, what did Wheaton eat after the Elmhurst game?  I want some of that dinner sheesh!  I think after the debacle at EC, the players decided to turn things around quickly and refuse to lose.  Good for them.  I hope they can win a few more games and get to Salem.

Congrats to North Central on a great season... can't help but wonder what could have been with a completely healthy team against Franklin though.  That's too bad. 

Also, I gotta congratulate Pokorny for breaking the Wheaton single season receiving TD's record.  What a stud, on and off the field!  He's also closing in on the receiving yards in a season record.
