I thought it was 250... but then again I went from 70+ posts upto over 400 once my stats from the previous post board were added to my total. So I don't recall at exactly what number I received that ability to effect someone's karma.

Whew... I haven't done much posting lately, especially anything causing controversy, yet my karma has been halved. Apparently I have some secret admirers...

"...Winning the title, Augie's 20th, meant that every class that has entered Augustana since the fall of 1978 has won at least one conference crown. The Vikings were picked to finish fourth, so avoiding the shutout was no automatic feat."

That is one hell of a statistic!!!!!

Great stat! This is why I know some Augie posters preason said that going 7-3 is a bad season when they don't make the playoffs. Nobody could understand that, but when you have the tradion Augie has, you don't want to be the class to mess it up.

I'm still overwhelmed by the article from the Sun-Times today! Every graduating class since 1978 has won a CCIW title.

That is unbelievable!

I've always been impressed because my Dad's class at Notre Dame (1950) never lost a game (36-0-2), had two Heisman Trophy winners (Lujack & Hart) and 3 national championships.

But to have every graduating class for 27 years win a CCIW title is unbelievable!

Pat, you must do some research on this because this has to be an NCAA record for all four levels of college football!
