OPOY- Kniss,   DPOY-Anthony   COY-  Hopefully a split between Barnes and Thorne, I just think that where JT has brought NCC from in the last 4 years and the fact that we are going to the playoffs for the 1st time in school history (pretty sure, but I am sure USEE will tell me if I am mistaken  :) ) that he deserves a nod as well as Barnes for the obvious reason- conference champ in the CCIW.

This has already been asked, but when is the All-conference team coming out?

Jaybird,

You don't have Anthony in your top 3 for DPOY?  Hmmm, and here I thought all along that you were fairly knowledgable.  ;D

Anthony was my # 4 hehe  Anthony is a great ball player and had one of the hardest hits I have seen this year.  I was going with Ward b/c he was second only to Radtke in total tackles.

I haven't seen it here, but Robin Cooper resigned as head coach at NPU in the team huddle after the game yesterday at NCC. So 'long coach.
I also heard that he had resigned....Any word on who would be in line for that job??? God bless him! ;D

Just wondering when do the all conference teams come out?? ???

Robin Cooper is a class act all the way.  I would be curious as to why he resigned and/or why he is leaving?
I had a couple of pre season talks with Robin and he is just a great person to spend time talking football with.

Hopefully NP can find someone that will help them finally win games. How about Wannie or Jauron? Nah, on second thought.........

I think an Assistant Coach at one of the CCIW schools would be a good fit at North Park.  It's a young team that is trying to build a program, so a seasoned Assistant Coach that has learned from a great Head Coach.. I think would have a good shot at NPU.  That's a tough job, since they are at the bottom of the CCIW and haven't won a CCIW game in 5 years?  (correct me if I'm wrong)
I would like to see NPU get strong and make it 8 toughies in the CCIW.  Hope it happens someday.

It is tough to predict all-conference teams, but last year NCC had 1st teamers on D-  Radtke, Hare, Smith,   and on offense-   Kniss, Spencer.

Radtke is a lock, and I think that even though Hare and Smith didnt equal their stats from last year, not to mention that Bellz and Imbordino had great numbers for NCC as well, they should still be 1st teamers.

Kniss and Spencer are locks, and I believe Holden earned a 1st team spot this year as well.  Besides running for over 900 yards and 10 TD's, he was also a key component of our passing offense giving Kam more time in the pocket.  On the offensive line, I think the nod will go to whoever Thorne feels deserves it the most, because their really wasnt a clear cut stud on our O-Line (that I can think of).

Former,

No way Holden is a 1st team choice.  There were more deserving backs in the conference.

Running backs  I would put 1) Wallick 2) Luna 3) somebody from Augie

I would probably agree with you on those Jaybird.  At the WR spots, I think NCC should get at least 2 1st team selections and possibly a 3rd as a 2nd teamer.

He was 4th in YPG, 4th in TD's, so based on the fact that the last 4 years there has been 3 1st teamers , I guess he would be a 2nd teamer.  I could see Wallick and Guzman as 1st teamers, but I would not put Luna in front of Holden.  He had one more touchdown and  34 more yards on a team that was 6-4, compared to NC's 9-1. (anyone who says that record doesnt matter is out of touch with life)   Holden had a higher YPC than Luna and was a huge reason our pass game was so successful this year.  If it was all about stats, we wouldnt have to have a meeting about the All-Conference team.  Holden was the lone back on the #1 offense and had comparable numbers.  I think he gets the nod in front of Luna and is on the 1st team.

In reference to WR, I think you are probably correct about 2 1st teamers and a second teamer.
