North Central College is going for its 6th consecutive Conference Championship. 02 Warhawk, you know what that is like.

I don't care what the folks from Wheaton call NCC, as long as they remember it's preceded by "CCIW Conference Champion."

Sure do....UWW has 32 conference championships in its histroy. Still one behind La Crosse, who is the conference's all-time leader.

Safe to assume NCC holds the record for most CCIW championships?

Read Triple Take. :)

...already did and everyone has a ways to go to catch Augie.

Only 12 more years!   ;D

The one thing I am hoping for tomorrow besides a win is that the Wheaton coaches are not timid to make adjustments.  The Wheaton coaches have  made some really great adjustments in games that have changed the tides of games.  They almost always seem to work but they rarely make adjustments in big CCIW games.  For instance the first time we played UWP they were steadily running the ball on Wheaton.  They went from the three man front to the four man front and pretty much stopped the running game.  I'm not saying it will  win a game just that you don't want to use a pass defense against a team that is running the ball on you.

Hope both teams come out of this game with no injuries.  Go Thunder.

Strongly disagree here.  I think the Wheaties do the best job of anyone in the conference at making adjustments.

I agree that they do a great job but they haven't made adjustments in the big CCIW games take the IWU game.  They made the adjustment of switching the corner who were getting turned the wrong way the following week.  The next week they made the adjustment to the corner by having Langs play there.  No I;m not saying that it would have one the game just they were getting burnt by the same play and players  time after time after time after time and made no, nill adjustments.

Here's hoping for an entertaining contest, and for the good health of all of the players involved and those travelling to and from the game.

And to an NCC victory.

You win! You always do!

I'm excited for tomorrow and I don't even have a horse in the race.

Hats off to the CCIW for having three excellent teams (and several good teams) that allows the fans to have so much to look forward to and enjoy.

Go....mmmmm Thunder Birds?

iwu70

Good luck to all involved in the "big game" tomorrow -- NCC vs. Wheaties.  I'll stick with NCC by 13 pts. or more.

Looks like not many are giving Wheaton much of a chance.  That's OK well be the proverbial underdog.  Even this dark shadow of not having the bell will pass.  The sun will shine again in Wheaton with the faint ringing of a bell back in its proper place. A day may come when the courage of the Thunder fail but it is not this day.  Or when the chirping red bird will stop the Thunder echoing throughout the skies of D3 but it is not this day.  This day Wheaton fights!

Well done Go Thunder---outstanding clips.  And, it pretty much sums up how I felt the 20 years before Coach Thorne arrived!

From eHow "The fear of thunder or, Brontophobia, is a easily treated fear". The red birds have lost their fear of Thunder and will be prepared to ignore the sound and fury and fly to their victory. Go Cardinals!

Game day!  Go get em, Cards!!!  Play with the same passion and intensity that I've seen you play with this season and this one is yours!!

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I won't be able to attend as I have a game myself this evening, but I'll be following closely.
I am a NATIONAL Champion, and I refuse to lose!

I believe Wheaton North will be playing at the same time with two of the Coaches having sons on the team. Michael Swider and  John Peltz.  The coaches will be at the Wheaton NCC game I'm sure. ;) ;D

Early news out of Naperville as it appears the big TE for NCC is not dressing. I believe he left last week's game with a concussion.
You win! You always do!

Man they look good today...They are just tearing apart Wheaton

Today's result is proof that NCC will own the conference for years to come, and it's not close. It comes down to superior personnel.
