Since it's slow in the offseason, anyone else catch this horribly awesome Benedictine recruiting video?
Man!  I knew I shoulda gone there instead of NCC!!!   :-\

My work computer blocks the video >:(,  There's always grad school  NT;D

The link is to the Deadspin article discussing it, so not sure if your work is blocking Deadspin (it can be a bit off color) or just the video?  If it's because of Deadspin, I'm guessing it could be found on Youtube, but don't have the time to search right this instant.

We don't get Youtube either, but I did get to read the article. Sounds like a very creative group of students.

That was pretty cool- At times I felt I was watching a Lost In Space episode though.

Now that the D1 signing day dust is starting to settle we will start seeing some D3 commits.

Class 6A semi-finalist Batavia has a few footballers heading the CCIW's way: All-State QB Noel Gaspari (NCC) and LB Austin Lewis (Augie) have both committed to play D3 football, and LB Sean Oroni is leaning towards Carthage. WR Evan Zeddies is looking at Augie.

could make for an interesting camp, but spring ball should be competative at the QB slot with Stanek returning.

April, good to see you again.  Saw you were back over on the CCIW basketball page.  Things are, as you probably expected, really slow over here right now.  Hope you have some time in the fall to contribute. I can't remember how many years it's been, but on the football side, North Central has been tops.  Wheaton and IWU also battle for a playoff spots and as usual, the entire league remains extremely competitive.  Unfortunately, North Park still hasn't won a conference game since you've been away, but they have been much more competitive scorewise.  Sager does the online broadcasting, and does a very good job.   Good to have you back, even if it's just to say hello!  :)

I wasn't aware that Stanek would be returning. That definitely makes for an interesting camp.
