From the "news that no one cares about" department:

I moved back to the Naperville area about 2 months ago so I plan on taking in many more NCC games. Was a bit too far of a commute from the NW burbs to make more than once/year.

Newsflash from the same department:
Since I still live in the Detroit area, I remain very happy for WETN's streaming online.  I will however be going to the Wheaton/Albion game this year.

In other news, I still live in the same house in Chicago. But I've rearranged my sock drawer since last season.

Good.  Now I can finally get some sleep.  It's been a long summer waiting for that news.  Incidentally, did you go by color or pattern?

I'm mostly a white-sock guy -- I wear sneakers at every opportunity in which I can get away with it -- so sorting them is always a pain in the gluteus maximus. All I have to go by is cuff and/or ankle pattern. I don't keep the colored socks in there with them anymore, though.

(There's something vaguely unsettling about this post, in a is-he-really-talking-about-socks-or-are-they-a-metaphor-for-something-else kinda way. But I really am talking about socks.)

I've always pictured Sager as the RGIII of the CCIW board. Socks of all lengths and colors.

Yeah, I was over 500 at one point, but I am the lone liberal on the Politics board.  I suggested a 'free speech - no karma hits' policy early on (which all the regulars swear they abide by ), but I am certain that is where the hits have been coming from.
