Never met him, only heard excellent things about him as a person.  Good luck in the future.

I'm glad to see that NPU put out this press release. As I said before, I didn't like the school's policy of not announcing coaching changes.

Via Triple Take:

Ryan's take: Cal Lutheran 30, North Central 28
Keith's take: North Central 35, Cal Lutheran 34
Pat's take: North Central 35, Cal Lutheran 32

Interesting.  All 3 have this as a very tight moderately high scoring ballgame.  NCC DL/DBs better step up and keep that passing game in check!  And take care of the ball, boys!
Keys to the game, IMHO

Also, take care of the ball boys.

Oh, I'm sure that Cal Lutheran will give them each a burger and Coke for holding the footballs on the sidelines all day. ;D

Yeah, they probably will give them that food as long as they (the ball boys) don't underinflate the footballs out there! :o ::) ;D :D ;)

This game is like a 2nd round matchup. I feel pretty good about this game. When NCC scheduled Redlands, it was a WTF moment for many supporters. But that experience should help a lot. With CLU's defense, the NCC offense is set to roll. Thanks to Wheaton for giving us experience against Hiben and Cook. That should help the secondary. I expect newcardmom's JR to be a stud. I expect a great game.

And cludad will go home 32-2. I wish I could be there.

I should have used that one four years ago-missed a golden opportunity.

For the NCC fans that didn't travel, it's been pouring here for the last 12 hours with no sign of letting up. Like I just posted on Twitter, I'd rather be the big running team than the fast passing team today. Oh well...

Wow...what a day (so far) for the CCIW.

I'm glad I tuned into watch the Elmhurst/Coe game. It was fun to watch. Also, I can't beleive this NCC/CLU score. I'm just glad I picked the two CCIW teams in my pickems bracket.

Best of luck the rest of the way
