Great day CCIW- congrats- not too bad for a "down year"!
Watching Linfield/PLU- I seem no reason NCC can't do well.

NCCDAD

Way to go Cardinals!!!

It's going to be a great flight home!

Congrats, NCC! The score is not indicative of what a butt-kicking that was. I think you guys have a real chance of beating Linfield. Good luck!

Linfield fan here--Excited to see the Cats play someone new next week.  Watched the NCC-CLU game today--was totally expecting you guys to run the ball all over CLU but was impressed with how well your D kept CLU's offense in check.  The matchup next week is a good one.  Looks to me like NCC likes to run it and the Cats have been very good against the run (less than 70 yards per game).  Conversely, the Cats like to pass the ball which looks like the strength of NCC's D.  If the Cats can get some points and make NCC throw it, then we'll be in good shape.  If you guys can shut down our offense and run the ball for good yardage then we will be in trouble.  I will say for those of you who watched the Linfield game today it was not a good offensive performance.....not sure if was a 2nd time round things with PLU or what but we expect more next week! :)  Go CATS!
Go Cats!

Are you & your wife (CLU '94) the couple we talked to at halftime in the CLU Hall of Fame hallway?  We enjoyed meeting you.  You and the other CLU fans were were gracious hosts.

Congrats to NCC and EC!  Nice wins that speak volumes for your teams and the CCIW. Congrats!

D O.C.

Don't recall LINFIELD facing a back like Kukuc this season.

Coach says it's time for finals and family.

Plane ride home time to let it lose, I suppose.

Great wins today, NCC and Elmhurst.  Congratulations!

Way to go Elmhurst & NCC!  Two CCIW teams in the final 16.

USee has mentioned it several times.  How many conferences can say they've had 7 of 8 teams in the D3 playoffs since 2000?  With the Bluejays victory, how many have had 6 different teams win an NCAA playoff game since 2000?

Any NC fans making the trip to Portland?

Checking out options...

Ditto.  If NCC makes it past the toughest quad in the bracket (IMO), I would expect a BIG crowd at the regional final - pent-up demand.  Congratulations go out to #17 EC for their big win today at #10 Coe.  It was a great day for the CCIW!  Also, I wanted to send a shout out to the Cardinal men's cross country team for their 15th national championship and the #6 Cardinal men's basketball team for a big win over #7 Hope today.  Cardinal Pride!

Been a good fall for the CCIW in general.  Two FB teams win first round games in playoffs (thus far), Elmhurst VB team in Final Four, Wheaton women's soccer in Final Four, Wheaton men's team narrowly missed Final Four bid, NCC men's cross country team wins National Championship, Wheaton men get 9th.  And I'm sure I'm missing others.
